Ok. First of, im 15 years old and my whole experience happened yesterday. I went to "psycho tattoo" with my mother and little brother on our way to my aunt's house. I had been begging my mom to let me do this for 2 years now! And so she finally gave in.

It was very clean and none of the people looked smelly or drunk like I had expected of a tattoo place. There was some rock music playing and there were leather couches for people to sit and wait. Overall, it looked like an awesome place. There was also a window where you could see the machine that cleaned all of the equipment and stuff, which made it seem really safe.
After we looked around me and my mom walked up to the counter and I explained to the man what I wanted done. So he checked my i.d. and my mothers and made us both fill out a form basically stating that they weren't responsible for anything if my eye got infected b/c I touched it, and a whole bunch of other stuff. So anyway, we filled it out and signed it. He then asked me what kind of a barbell I wanted (I chose a silver curved barbell, because I like the look of only 2 small balls and its not as likely to rip it out, compared to a ring) and then he told us it would cost 64$. Then it was just waiting time. I was getting a little bit nervous but I suppose that's normal. The waiting sucked, but it was fun to look at all the different tattoo books, and pictures of everyone and it calmed me down. So after about 25 minutes of waiting, this very clean, skater looking type of guy told me to come on back.
My mother refused to come in with me so I was all on my own. It was a small room that was also very clean and had a mirrored wall on one side. It much resembled a dentist office minus the chair, and purple walls with tattoo pictures on it. He told me to sit down and we just talked while he set everything up. I also want to state that he let me watch him open all of the needles and everything and told me what everything was. He also made some small talk with me and just told me to relax. Then he took some sort of dye and a toothpick and made 2 dots on my eyebrow and told me to see if I liked where it was. I didn't really check it out cause I was so nervous and I just said yes. So then he took the clamps and placed them on my eyebrow and asked if I was ready. I said, "wait! Is this going to hurt?" he just laughed and said no. I told him that I hated shots and that I kicked my doctor when she tried to get blood from me the week before and he just kept on saying that I could han dle it. So, I trusted him and then he told me to get ready and he was going to start. So I closed my eyes and clenched on to the bed thing and I felt him push through my skin. Then, in like a matter of 2 seconds it was done. The needle was all the way in and he just had to place the barbell in. it didn't hurt at all. It even hurt less than my ears being pierced on the lobes! I was so amazed cause I figured I was going to come out balling to my mom and stuff but it didn't hurt at all. It did bleed though. He said that im just a bleeder and that everyone bleeds differently, some people don't bleed at all. But I didn't care, hell, my eyebrow was pierced! So he made it stop by washing it and holding a paper towel to it and then he told me how to wash it with dial and then squirt some saline solution on it and it should heal with in 4 to 6 weeks and if I had any questions or anything that I should just call and ask him. So then I hopped out and left.
My mother thinks it looks gross and my brother thinks im a loser. But hell, I like it and that's all that matters. So if you live in the ATL area, and want to get some bod mod, I really recommend going to psycho tattoo. They have 3 different shops and you can check out anything you need at psychotats.com! Have fun and I PROMISE, it doesn't hurt. :)
