I'd been wanting my eyebrow pierced for about a year and after months and months of begging my mom she finally gave in and said, 'Go ask Dad.' Well, I already knew what his answer was going to be, since he didn't really care either way. But they never really said when I could get it, so I pretty much left it alone for a while.

A few weeks later, we were out in town shopping. I happened to remember seeing the piercing shop (we had come to it earlier to check it out) on the same road we were on. So, I casually asked, "So, can I get my eyebrow pierced?" Having recieved no answer, I left it alone. Next thing I knew they were pulling into the shop. We all got out and went in. The place was amazingly clean and the guys are so friendly. Anyways, my mom went up to them and got the usual, 'If you die, we didn't do it' paperwork, along with the consent form. By this time, I was shaking I was so nervous. I asked the piercer, Darrin, about 5 times if it was going to hurt. He finally said, "No, but if it hurts, I'll give you a free shirt." So I was happy with that. We had to wait for about 5 minutes because someone was getting something else done ahead of us. But then, he called us back to 'the room'. I had stopped shaking, but I was still nervous as hell. Darrin got me to sit on this dentist type chair while he explained the procedure and the aftercare. While he was talking, he changed his gloves like, 2 times. Then he took out one of those special pens and marked my eyebrow. The first time, it was too far over, so I got him to remark it. This time it was perfect. He took the clamps, which were really cold, and clamped my eyebrow. I closed my eyes about this time. I felt a hot sensation in my eyebrow and he told me to open my eyes and blink to make sure that it wasn't interfering with anything. When I opened my eyes, I was shocked. There was a 3 1/2 inch needle in my face! I blinked and closed my eyes again while he put the jewelry in. It was done. I got up and checked it out. I loved it instantly. I said thanks and my mom paid and we left.

After this, we went to a sunglasses shop down the street. My mom kept looking at mine and I guess the more she saw it the more she liked it, because we had to go back so she could get hers done. They had to stick her twice, because they didn't get it deep enough the first time. After she got hers done, we finally left for good. That night, when I had to clean it with the soap, it burned really bad, but after the first few times, it didn't really bother me anymore. I loved the reaction I got at school. Mouths dropped open and it was hilarious. I got questions for about a month like, is it real? Did it hurt? And even to this day, I still get asked if it hurt. ( and I always say no...) My piercing was doing fine for about 3 months. Then I noticed that it looked further out than when I got it done. By the end of the week, it was about to fall out. I still remember it too. I was sitting in class one day, and as a habit, I would sit and twist it around and play with it. Well, whil e I was doing this, it just fell out onto my desk. It had migrated itself out. I was soo upset.

So, I went back to the shop and the guys there, (I love them!) repierced it for free. This time, it has done extremely well, and no problems so far. *knock on wood* But I totally recommend this piercing to anyone who's thinking about getting it done. I've influeneced about 3 people at my school to go and get it done, and I'm going with my best friend in a few days to get hers done. So far, after the eyebrow, I've gotten my navel done at the same place, and I'm working on my toungue next. OH! One more thing, if you're in the Columbia area and you're looking for a piercing place, Don't go looking for Easy Body Piercing. They ended up getting shut down. My grandparents freaked when they heard this, because it's where we got them done. The newspaper said that they were shut down for piercing minors without consent. (Which wouldn't be me.. My mom signed for me..) The guys also went to jail because of other reasons that I'm not going to say on here. But like I said, I totally recc omend getting this piercing if you have it in mind. Go for it!
