Well it all started in like 7th grade when i knew i wanted to pierce my eyebrow, but i knew since i was only like 13 i couldnt do it. I waited till i was in 9th grade. The summer was comming and me and my friends were talking about it. They all said i should do it.But not to get a ring, get a barbell they all said. One of my friends had just got hers done and gave me the # of where she got it done. She said she didnt need a parent or anything.I was nervous to ask my mom becuse i thought she would say NO and get all crazy.

I made a "Proposition" to my mom. She said no. I then said "Ill take it out before school" She said what does your father think? I hadnt called him yet so i said i dont know. Then she said well, maybe ill think about it and call your father. So that night me and Christie called him. All i said to him was "was dad, can we get my eyebrow pierced?" He said what does your mom think. "She said ask your father." So my dad just said yea well get it this week. He asked me where i wanted to do it at and i told him my friend gave me this guys number that does it, he said "im not bringing you to a chop shop".
The next day i called some places to see if they would pierce someone under 16 some of them said no and others said yes. The one i called and liked the most was "Old world tattoo" my aunt got her tongue pierced there and my dads girlfriend got her belly button pierced there 2.They said i just needeed a parent and mine and his ID to get it pierced, They also said it was 55$ for the barbell and 50$ for the ring. So i called my dad and said well go tommarrow after work.
So that day i called my friend to come with me and she came over. My dad came over and we went. I was nervous the whole ride there but listing to Sublime calmed me down. We walked in to the parlor and Limp Bizkit was playing. It was very clean. One thing i though was kinda weird was there were no seperate rooms for piercings. It was in the front of the shop, but i like attention so i was happy. i was still very very nervous. I filled out some papers. we were all looking at the tattoos and the piercer called out "eyebrow". I got up and he asked me if i wanted a barbell or ring, i said barbell and he marked me.I saw my dad turn around as soon as he came close to me.My best friend was there watching the whole time. He said lay down. So i did i closed my eyes and all i felt was him fumbling around up there.I was just wating for the major pain, and with out warning he pierced me. There was hardly any pain. Pinching my eyebrow was worse. He slipped the barbell through and it was done. I got up the other guy handed me a paper about cleaning. When i got up every one was staring at me. We then headed to the drug store to pick up the bactine.
The whole way home i kept looking at it in the mirror. I also kept asking everyone how it looked and if it was crooked or looked bad. They said it looked really good on me. I thought the piercer could have been nicer but it looked like he was busy. When i got home i showed my grandman and aunt. They both loved it. When i told my grandma i was going to do it she freaked out. But as soon as she saw it she said i looked cute and "exotic". Then my friend kept asking me to come over to her house and show her mom and family. So we walked over there, everyone there said it really looks good on you and its one of the best ive seen. The whole time i was there he mom kept saying "your not getting that" "Dont even ask me"
Its been over 2 months now and my eyebrow is great. The healing process went great and it hardly ever hurt. There was some clear discharge for a couple days but i was told that would happen. It was a little red and swollen for about 2 days. Now ive changed the barbell 2 times, but the only bad thing is I keep loosing the balls. My next piercing will be my tongue so look forward to hearing about that.
