It was about a year since i had gotten anything pierced so i felt the need to go and get something else done. I had already gotten my naval, labret and madison pierced. The madison migrated so i had to remove it, i was really dissapointed because it looked really good too.. ohwell, i can always get it done again. Anyway i decided it was time my eyebrow was pierced. I figured it couldn't hurt more than when i got my labret done and man did that one hurt. Either way i was going to get it done I always thought eye brow rings looked nice on just about everyone, it was one piercing i always wanted.I went over to the studio last minuet one night out of boredom, i couldn't think of anything else to do. I took with me, friend anita who never had anything pierced before and was intrested so she wanted to watch the procedure. When I walked in the ownermike greeted me and asked what i needed done, i told him and he gave me the paper to sign and made a copy of my ID, told me it would be a few minuets. After I signed , i sat in a comfy leather couch and looked at some photos of tattoos and other piercings the studio had done. A little while later the artist came out and asked me if i was ready. Of course I was! I had butterflies in my stomach...but the good ones. I always get excited when im about to get pierced. I got up and followed him into the room, i sat down in the firmiliar dentist looking chair. My friend was allowed to come in and watch also which was really cool. I had gone here before, so i wasn't really nervous or worried about anything, i have just enough trust in these guys, which is really important in situation were someone is poking holes in your body hehe!
At A Glance Author *Sparks* Contact AlliewondaLand@aol.com Artist I forgot his name : ( Studio Atlantis Location CT Even though,I was still careful and watched everything he did.. as usual. The room was really clean, he put on these cool purple latex gloves, took the needle, jewelary and everything out of their seperate sterile packaging. He then cleaned my eyebrow and the area around it.. i think it was iodine or something, he then marked the spot with a black pen, asked me to look in the mirror to see if i thought it was lined up correctly.I was pretty confident with the way it looked so I told him it looked right to me and he started. He explained what he was going to do first. He told me to take a deep breath in and the he pushed the needle through, i always thought you had to use a clamp but i guess for my eyebrow he didn't need it. The guy who did my naval ring at a different studio didn't use a clamp either (is that bad?) I dont think it made much of a difference though because neither of them seemed to have any trouble. Anyways, i didnt even flinch, just looked out the corner of my eye at my friend who looked as if she was going to puke. Then he told me he was putting the ring in. It was a small silver one with sorta metallic silvery black ball. That part i didnt even feel.. it was more of a strange feeling,i could feel the metal against my skull which was really weird, but i liked it in a way. To tell ya the truth it really didn't hurt at all, i mean there was some pain but not enough to get all worked up over or to even realize. It didn't even bleed. Then he told me how to take care of it, gave me an aftercare sheet and asked me if I had any questions. I didn't at the time, since i'd been through this all before so he said if i came up with any questions or had any problems with it i could call and ask for him anytime or stop by. I looked in the mirror and smiled, it looked sooo cute! I thanked him very much, gave him my money(64$), thanked everyone again and ran to the car all happy. My friend was just astonished i didn't make any facial expressions when the needle was going through my skin. She asked if it hurt like a million times, now im just trying to get her to pierce her eyebrow also! Well that was my experience getting my eyebrow pierced, maybe i'l get a second one.I cant wait for my next piercing, but i cant decide what i want either...
