About a week or two later she came to my house and showed me her new nose piercing that she went and got with her husband and Fourteen year old pot head/punk Cousin from her husbands side. I was so pissed that she went without me but I said oh well Fuck it. A few weeks later we were on our way to Walmart when I told her to take me to the Tattoo Studio so I could get my nose pierced. I walked in and told them wheat I wanted, showed my ID but surprisingly signed no papers. I was a little nervous but not too bad I mean its just a piercing right? If It is painful it will only last a few seconds.
I was called to the back and the man doing the piercing was in his fifties and he was very nice. He joked around with me to loosen me up so I wouldn't be all that nervous then I saw the needle and started freaking because I hate needles. He asked me which side I wanted it on and I picked my left Nostril because I wanted it to be on the side Where people can see it when I am driving in my car HA HA! He cleaned my nose and told me to crinkle it up and he marked the spot and told me to check it, It looked OK to me so we moved on. He then was trying to hide the needle behind his back so I wouldn't see it and told me to close my eyes. I closed them for a good two seconds then I opened them because I am the type that HAS to see exactly when the needle is going to hit. He said Take a deep breathe and let it out, When I let it out I felt the sharp Pain of the needle entering my nose, He stopped and I thought he was done then I felt it again, and again! Then I heard a POP and it was out the other side. I soon realized the POP was the cartilage and I kept feeling The sharp prick over and over because he was going through layers of it. It actually felt like I got pierced about three or four times at once!
After he pierced it he then replaced the needle with the stud and that hurt too. He kept having to pull on it and he was pulling up on my nose and it hurt like shit! My eyes were blood red and I had tears streaming down my face but not because I was crying but because the needle made my eyes water. When he finally finished I hopped off the chair to check out my new piercing. I Looked and the mirror and was shocked at how beautiful it looked, I had a sparkly diamond stud in my nose. It was gorgeous instantly fell in love with my new piercing. I couldn't wait to show it off to the world! It is my favorite piercing by far. I plan on keeping my nose piercing for a really really long time, way past when I take the others out. The after care was easy, just keep it clean and use H2Ocean on it and make sure you twist it like an ear piercing. I never had any pain with it afterwards except once when I got a keloid on the inside of my nose but I think I got it because I was always playing with the piercing and I changed it after like a week. If you are thinking about a nostril piercing you will not regret it, it is one of the most gorgeous piercings there are, it's so subtle and beautiful. It is not that painful either, I mean I'm not going to lie, it hurt but it wasn't unbearable and the pain was totally worth the gain of a beautiful new piercing. I would do it over again in a second! Piercing is addictive just like Tattoos are. Once you get that first piercing you will be back again and again. Don't let the pain of the needle stop you because for a couple of seconds of pain you will have a beautiful piercing that can last a life time. Just remember DON'T play with it and don't change it until you are supposed to!!
