Hi my name is Taylor and I have always wanted to get my nose pierced and it was a boring day and I was on the web searching and I came across BMEzine.com and I saw nostril piercing pictures and I was like uh ahhh I want one so it was late the following night and all day I had been preparing a speech on asking the question. Can I get my nose pierced?

The following day I called my mama at work and was like mama I called Randy Adams and they said that you can get a nose piercing at the age of 14 all you need is a I.D and a birth certificate and you need to be there for parental consent and to sign a couple of forms!
She said ok I'll think about it! And I was so excited just by the thought of it! So ever since she said yes I have been doing research after research after research trying to make sure this is something I really want before I go on with it!
So I looked at aftercare websites, pictures, jewelry, and personal experience stories to reassure myself that the pain was minimal! And I found out it was like popping a pimple, plucking an eyebrow, and hey just a needle sticking you. (HA!HA!HA!)
My mama came to my room and said she'll let me get it done and we were going to go to the tattoo and piercing parlor the next day and I was so happy!!!
All that night I tossed and turned and thought about which side to get it on and then I came to the conclusion that I was going to get it on the right side since that is my best side!
The next morning I showered and got dress and got my yearbook picture as my I.D since I lost my I.D card and my birth certificate and hopped in the car and we drove 15 minutes to Randy Adams and we stepped in and the lady asked me for the I.D and birth certificate then she made a copy and she told me to have a seat!
Less than 10 minutes later Cour my piercer called me back! I was so nervous my legs were shaking! I hopped on the clear chair/table thing and he washed his hands and put on his gloves and got out all the materials and he set it on the equipment table then he opened all of it infront of me then he showed me and I just nodded my head! Next, he had me choose a stud and I chose a clear stone and he placed it in this liquid sterilizer. He opened the needle and laid it down. Then he made me make faces to see what was the best marking spot then he placed the dot and had me look to see if that was okay and I said yes! He had me sit up so it wont be that much blood if any and i DID. He put the clamps on and that was mostly the same as the needle going through then I closed my eyes and he said take 3 deep breaths and on the 3rd exhale i'm going to push it threw and I nodded! 1...2...3...BAM all I felt was intense pressure and a pinch and next thing I know I hear your done take a look! I hopped up and I looked at the mirror and there it was sparkling back at me. Immediately I fell in love with it and I'm glad I had made the choice to get it and if you really want it I say go for it because it's pretty and conservative and it's makes your face beautiful!
So far I have had no problems whatsoever and my stud has not come out yet. I clean it 3 times a day. Morning, Noon, and Night so it wont get infected. It's sore when I yawn and I stings if I hit it. But other than that I am being very responsible with my new piercing and since I got it I've been getting attention but hey it's on my face right!
If your thinking about pain don't worry it's no biggy YOU CAN DO IT!!! And i'm a big wuss when it comes to pain and I did it so go for just don't do a D.I.Y ( DO IT YOURSELF!) It's dangerous get it done professionally!
And if you clean it properly it will not get infected swollen or it won't bleed. Trust me. IF you have any questions you can feel free to email me and I will be glad to help you and don't mess with it for at least 2 months. It will help you out in the long run!
