I've had my lip pierced for a little over a year now and decided that I wanted something new done. After a few months of considering, I decided on getting both of my nostrils pierced.

Since I got my lip done at Snapdragon and found they did a good job, I decided to go back.

When I got there, I asked how much it would cost and the guy at the front desk said it would be $100.00. Forty dollars more expensive than the other shop that's just down the road , but since I liked the job they did last time I decided to go there because of the service.

So me and my sister and my friend were all waiting to see someone to do it.

After waiting about 15 minutes for someone, (they forgot I wanted something done) someone came to do it. I'd never seen the girl who they had pierced me there before. I didn't recognize any of the same people there this time actually, but I didn't think it mattered too much. I was definitely wrong.

After she cleaned my nose and everything, she spent about 20 minutes making sure the dots were even with each other and she told me to look at them. They were perfect.

We were making small talk and she asked me if I had anything else pierced, which I thought was weird as the lip one is pretty noticeable. Oh well.

So at this point I was really excited to get it over with.

She clamped it, which was pretty uncomfortable, and went to put it through. I felt it going through, yeah it hurt, but it was definitely bearable. Mostly just a stinging and then my eyes were streaming. Less pain than I expected for sure. If people are hesitant about getting it done because of the pain they really shouldn't be. I find I have a pretty low tolerance for pain and this wasn't bad at all. Getting the stud in was uncomfortable but still, bearable.

Then, she told me she missed the dot on this one, and she'd have to adjust the other one. She said they were just guidelines anyways.

I started getting worried at this point because I had thought the dot was in the perfect spot, and I thought that's what they draw them on for in the first place, to hit them... but whatever. I just wanted them even so I let her readjust the dots, and then she went to do the second.

It hurt a little less this time. Probably because I knew what to expect. At this point, there were two other employees in there watching. She went to put in the stud but the ball dropped on the ground. She got out another one and screwed it on but the ball was a different size than the one already in on the other side. I asked her if I could get one to match and she said she'd have to look in the back, but I might have to come back another day after they sanitize it. I wasn't too thrilled. So then finally, another guy working there said that there were other balls that would fit on the post, so I got those screwed on.

She went to get my aftercare sheet so I got up to look at them...

The second I looked in the mirror I knew they were uneven. I was mortified. I asked my sister and my friend who came with me if they saw it too, they both did.

The stud on my right side was noticeably lower than the one on my left and also closer to the end of my nose.

So at this point I'm freaking out pretty royally.

She told me that she'd done 5 of the same before which were all perfect, and that I was just the unlucky one. Followed up by a , "Sorry Hun." She said I'd have to pay for one. So I payed and left.

It's the next day now and I've already taken one out. I have to wait for it to heal over and then I'm going to go to another place to get it re-done.

I'm frustrated that now I have to wait even longer for something that should have been done right the first time. Now the only other shop I would go to is in another town. I never should have had to take one out. I was paying her to do a job that I thought she knew how to do.

I loved the staff there a year ago, but because of this experience I'll never go back again. Nor will I ever suggest them to anyone anymore. They were extremely unprofessional and I absolutely hated what I got in the end.
