I had my nose done before, about six months prior to getting it again, which I have now and am keeping for as long as I can. I think I might have to take it out if I enter the nursing program, which I plan on doing soon. If push comes to shove, then piercing will have to go. But they can not make me take my belly one out!!!!
At A Glance Author deflowerkid Contact deflowerkid@bme.anon When Three months ago Artist Jason Studio Tattoo in Chandler Location Alma School and Guadalupe in Chandler I was at work and talking with my friend who had one, and decided I really wanted one. (go peer pressure!) She looked awesome with it in, and since (yes I know) a lot of girls had it and they were not the "piercing" type, I wanted to get mine.
So I went with my friends after work. We were going mini-golfing after so it was a few of them. She wanted to pick up more of the stuff that works really well on your piercings. I had my belly done by this guy before so I felt really comfortable with him. I just asked him to do my nose, and he just did it for me. The right side of my face teared up. I guess that is a sympathetic nervous system reaction or something. He said it could not be helped. So I was happy with it. It did not hurt as badly as I thought it would. Just a little pop and that is it. The worst part was him twisting it in my nostril for it to be comfortable. The second time he did it, he pre twisted it just for me.
So I kept it in for about three days. I even went to work with it in. My mom was against it because she said it would not look professional. So cut to more of the mom not talking to me, angry at me that I did it, and all around busting balls-ness. She went around the house muttering that I was a stupid person who would regret my piercings. (I work in a hospital with professionals) But actually at work, of the people that noticed (two), they both liked it. But sadly I took it out so the mom would talk to me again. The week after, I worked again and the Chief of Medicine actually said, "Did you have your nose pierced?" And I said, "Yes, but I took it out." Then he replied with, "I actually liked it." I was floored! Now I had ammunition to retort back to my mother with, that it could look professional if done correctly. Most of the people at work do not mind, if you work hard, they really do not care what is on your face, seems to be their attitude.
Six months later, I went with the same friend. I get it redone by the same guy and now I love it even more. I appreciate it more and if anyone notices, usually I get compliments on it. Of course it gets annoying at times but I love it. I even gets compliments at work for it so it is all the better for it. I have a white one in but I bought a clear one if I got in trouble at work for it. Thing of it is now, I lost it. ::looks around room::
It's tiny and unobtrusive. Now a lot of people have piercings but since we are professional about it I do not think it is a problem. Warning do not get a cold with it in, it hurts to blow your nose right after getting it done. Someone even called it dainty, which I liked. If anyone notices at all, I usually get compliments on it, and if you're considering it, I recommend it. I love mine.
I find that piercing is pretty addictive. I went and got my belly done and I was hooked. I had my nose done and am thinking about getting some more, like maybe an industrial or my tongue done. I am just waiting for these ones to heal. It is not something I saw myself doing but I am glad I have done it and love it. The boyfriend does not seem to mind. In fact, I think he actually likes it! If he did, it is not his body, so who cares! If it is something you are considering, I just wanted you to know that I love mine and would not trade it for anything. It becomes a part of you so fast... and just be careful with it in...I have come close to a couple of times pulling it out. It, of course, hurts the first few days, but in my experience noses heal fast and it does not bother you after a while. So, in conclusion, piercing is awesome. That is all.
