Hey

Well a month or two ago I decided I wanted my lip piercing, but my mom, being a nurse said no straight away. I was pretty annoyed to say the least but after a couple of months of nagging I persuaded her to let me go get my nose pierced instead.

I decided to go with a friend and her sister's boyfriend because my mom wouldn't have anything to do with it apart from giving me the hesitant okay. We went to pandemic another shopping hull but they told me they couldn't pierce my nose because I was under 16 and this really annoyed me because it's my choice.

So we tried to go to body art that used to be on top deck of princess quay but obviously top deck had closed down and the shop hadn't re opened yet.

So we continued our search for shop to get my nose done (and my friend's top ear). We went to Katmandu and well they basically told us we had no permission from our parents and they didn't want our customs, they were so patronizing because I did have permission and so did my friend.

We next went to Classics, my friend had had her belly done there until it got caught and torn out.

Anyway, we went upstairs and we were met by a man who was the pierces. (The strange thing was he only had one piercing, it sounds strange because most pierces have quite a few.)He job rob (sister boyfriend) to fill out a form, it asked basically everything about my health and asked if I had drunk anything alcoholic and if I had eaten in the last 4 hours.

Well he said that rob couldn't sign for me and he would have to call my mom and ask her. I was a little worried because she wasn't keen on the idea but rang her anyway he explained that he was just doing his job and even thought you can pierce someone's nose with out parents permission many people ring him with angry messages and it also means the reputation of the salon goes down, and well it was almost a no but I talked her into it.

He took me into the studio, everything seemed clean and sterile he asked me what I would like I explained I would like a ring, he gave me a funny look but I guess a lot of people do.

He put on some black sterile gloves.

He brought a ring explaining that it was not like normal and had no ball it was not a full ring he told me it would be easier to clean and look after than a full one. He sterilized it and checked the size on my nose before putting it into a small pot of pinkish sterilizing fluid. He then went into the cupboard and brought out an individual kit containing a clamp a needle and a tissue to put over my shoulder, jus incase.

I was pretty nervous, I never liked needles. But he put the clamp on my nose, people had said this was painful but it isn't at all, he then pushed the needle through my nose it was smooth and I didn't realize that it had been done till it came out the other side, I have to admit it came as a shock when I did notice. For a second he had to leave it because something bad happened in the tattoo parlor but it was alright my friend was laughing because I had a needle sticking through my nose but something bad was happening in the tattoo parlor so it didn't really bother me when he left because I was okay to be honest.

He came back and put on a clean pair of gloves before returning to the ring in the sterilizing fluid.

Imp not going to lie the most painful bit was putting in the ring it hurt because it stretched the hole he had made. But when I came out I was beaming I was really happy and felt like I had something new about me he gave me a cleaning solution and some handy sterile wipes just incase I got something on it when I was out and about.

He left me with full a4 sheet worth of instructions and aftercare.

Classics is one of the best places I know for piercing and apart from the fact you must have parental permission it is a friendly environment and the people there are nice to be around.

It is above a hair salon meaning that it is a nice building.

All together this cost me £12 and I was very happy with the results.

I have to say it was a great experience, even though I don't like needles.

Oh yeah and my friends top ear was just as good.

Sorry about my last submission, I was a bit shot when I wrote it so I didn't check the grammar.
