I really love large gauge piercings. I'm trying to pierce everything large or stretch it up. And I have respect for everyones choses, sometimes I don't understand them but I respect them. Everyone is equal. I've always missed a septum, it was a missing part in my face. And I really wanted one. I actually don't know why I have waited so long to finally do my septum. Problably financially and time. But then around two months ago I finally got my septum done. It took two times, but its there now.

I came in the studio, asked Lucas if 4mm is possible and if its not to intense. He told me all the options, but I was sure I didn't want it smaller than 4mm. Thats just fine to begin with, otherwise I had to stretch it up to 4mm for getting bigger. And that always takes a lot of time. Lucas also said it was the best thing to do.
We went into the room where they actually do the piercing. He maked sure everything was clean and sterilized before to begin. With a marker he marked the place a little, then he took the clamp and the needle of 4mm. He putted the clamp on my nose and had the needle in his hand, so we were ready for business. So far so good. When he got the needle true, I moved pretty hard my head so the clamp moved a little and the needle didn't got true like it normally do. Fuck that hurts!! My eyes were incredible streaming, I was just like a little child who didn't got his lolly with the dentist. He went down while inserting the needle so the needle came out lower. We had to take it out. That was also pretty painful but it was for a good cause. I was a little bit disapointed because I really wanted my septum. But I knew there is time enough to do it.
The healing of it went really smoot. I just cleaned it under the shower and with cleaning water. It bled the first day, thats it. The first week was my nose a little sensitive, and I didn't saw the holl anymore. After a couple of weeks I didn't feel a thing anymore. I saw a little bit of scare tissue but really small.
A month later a think; my nose was fully healed from the last time, it was time to do my septum again. So I went back to the shop quickly after work. Again a little bit nervose especially after the last time when it hurts like hell, but I had a good feeling about it. Especially because I trust Lucas and I know he does good work. I got in the shop and Lucas start to make sure everything was clean and sterilized. He took out the clamp out of his package, laid the needle ready. The juwelery was sterilized. We could get started. He marked the spot. Put the clamp on my nose, I took a deep breath and as I exhale the needle got true in one time and he put the cork on the end. then he put the 4mm flesh tunnel in it. Didn't hurt that much at all and I was fucking happy I finally got my septum. My eyes were streaming a lot. It looks fucking good.
The aftercare is the easiest of them all. Just rince the noise a few times a day and I' ve putted two times a day a aftercare-product on it. The only fucking thing that bothers me is the crust form around the plug, especially the first days with the bloodcrust. I had to rince it with hot water. It's a difficult place to clean it very good and I ' ve got very skilled in whiping my nose. Especially when i have a cold or other illness.
My parents don't say anything anymore about any of my mods, but they still haven't saw my septum. That is actually really good because where I am working now I cannot have too much facial piercings. I have to take out my plugs in my ears but I can keep in my conches, thank god. We are now a month later and I hope I can change the plug into an other or if my nose is ready I can stretch it up within two weeks. I found this plug a little to long, I would like to have a shorter or a bigger. I've always loved a large septum piercing. I'm going to stretch it up till 10mm, and put a nice plug in. He is placed pretty high, so maybe I can stretch him up bigger, we will see.
