I got my nose pierced for the first time about 3 years ago, with a gun :-s It closed up about a year later when I lost my nose stud whilst on holiday.

Studio Bodz Peircing Clinic Location Liverpool, UK Anyways, I started uni in Liverpool and was bored so decided to search the web for a piercing place round here, because I figured it would be hard work going home every time I felt like an addition. I came across the website for this place which is really good by the way. I originally wanted my rook pierced, but I decided I'd better not have any more ear piercings because my mum doesn't really like them, and since I've had my nose done before she might not mind as much! I wanted my tongue pierced as well, but I was told my frenulum (the webby bit under my tongue) was too far forward and close to my tip :-( Gutted... but my nose still looks pretty cool!
So I took a friend with me and we called in, the 3 peeps who work there are all lovely and dead friendly, I asked about nose piercings and the woman (don't know her name) gave me a couple of leaflets about why not to use guns and some other stuff. She had some great piercings!! I decided that I definitely wanted to get it done, and made an appointment for 2:30 and went to get something to eat before I went back. I wasn't really very nervous because I've had quite a lot done before, but when I got there I was!!
When I got there this really cool guy (don't know his name either, loadsa piercings and uberly cool hair! lol) took me into this room, which was just soooo clean!! I always thought the place I went to at home was clean and everything, but it's nothing compared to this place! The guy spent ages cleaning his hands and then explained everything to me! Since I'd only had my nose pierced with a gun before ( :-S yeah, I know!) I didn't know much about how it was done with a needle, but he was so thorough! I asked if he would numbed it first and he said no, it wasn't necessary and assured me it wasn't painful - I didn't believe him! I wanted to get up and leave when he said that!! But anyways, he did everything slowly and checked if I was ok and everything. I lay down on this hospital style bed and he cleaned my nose with some alcohol based product, then marked my nose. He asked me to check if it was ok, I asked him to move it and then he clamped my nostril, which felt kind of weird, after all there was some metal thing up my nose! Then he put the needle through. I was expecting some awful agony but it was just a slight sting and then my nose went numb on its own. When he said they didn't numb it he actually said it hurts less when its not been frozen, and I just thought what a pile of rubbish, but its true!! Whenever I've had parts of my ear pierced that have been numbed it hasn't exactly been painful but the sensation was really weird, and there was a lot of pressure. He told me to relax (wriggle my toes and stuff, which I felt abit stupid doing but at least it took my mind off the fact that there was some needle sticking in my nose!!) and that he was going to put the jewellery in, he told me this was the most uncomfortable part, but honestly it wasn't that bad - and I have a very low threshold for pain, so I'm sure for most other people it's not painful at all! He cleaned up a few drops of blood and then I opened my eyes. My right eye watered so bad! Which was quite funny! I went to look at it in the mirror and it l "\Ãw@õ ooked so cool! I got a little silver stud with a pink gem in. He told me to sit down again and he explained how to clean it with salt soaks to remove crusties and things and said to go back in 2 weeks to check that its healing ok and everything (which I thought was really nice touch!)
Went out to pay - £25 - which I initially thought was a bit expensive (I had paid £7 at my usual piercers back home when I had been gunned) but now I realise that this place is so much more professional! I even got a sticker and a lolly pop :-) best bit!!
I would definitely recommend going to this place to get pierced, and its definitely worth the money! And if anybody wants anything pierced they should just go for it!
