I don't know when I started wanting a nose piercing, I guess it was because my friend was getting it done too and she spent ages talking about it to me and soon enough I wanted one too! After debating with my friends about it *one wanted me to get my lip done and the other wanted me to get my nose done* I finally decided I wanted my nose pierced. I have had my belly pierced and had a good experience with that so I had already decided which piercing shop I was going to get it done for the first time.
At A Glance Author dizzy Contact dizzy@bme.anon When A week ago Studio The Studio Location Afflecks palace After begging my mother for like a month I was finally allowed it done, I was really scared but rang my best friend anyway and told her to come to town with me. I hadn't read that much about it at the time though and I regret it because it could have saved me a lot of pain and the piercer told me she was going to use a gun because it hurt less *liar!!! * I said to her I thought it was dangerous and she was like 'oh no, it is quick unlike a needle and easier!' I looked at my friend and she told me to go for it anyway *idiot * so I paid up and waited for the piercer. The girl looked only young but she had a nose and a lip ring so I thought she knows what she is doing. I had my belly pierced here and had no problems with it so I trusted them.
She lead me in the piercing room and cleaned my nose but not once did she speak to me even though I told her how scared I was. As the earring went through my nose I felt such a strong pain and after it was done I felt like crying because it really hurt, my left eye was watering anyway. The piercing was in the right place but the huge stud looked awful. I paid and she told me that I would have to change it in 3 days but no other aftercare instructions.
Over the next 3 days it hurt so much, and bled everywhere, I was in pain and scared. I looked on the Internet for aftercare instructions but came across site that were telling me how dangerous it was to have it done with a gun, how you can catch infections and things like that and I was nearly sick. I wished I hadn't done it. I was a pain to look after too. It bled so much one day that it fell out and I couldn't get it back in again so I was quite upset.
It healed with only a tiny scar so I plucked up enough courage to have it done again this time somewhere different and make sure I asked for a needle. So I went to studio and they were so nice to me and explained everything they were going to do saying they would do it with a hollow needle and clamp. I chose a pretty blue nose screw and went into the room very scared. They cleaned my nose and put the claps on which didn't hurt. They asked me to breathe in and then out and I felt a sharp pressure on my nose then a small sharp pain as it went through but I could feel it getting stuck in the middle of my nose so she had to push it quite hard but it didn't hurt as much as my belly or as much as the gun did so I was pleased. She clipped the needle off and somehow threaded the screw through the needle *I had my eyes shut at the time but my friend was watching* and then gave me aftercare instructions.
It was brilliant, it didn't hurt as much as I expected it to and hardly bled! It has been a week now and it doesn't hurt at all, no blood or anything! I would defiantly do it again but I would tell everybody to get it done with a needle instead of a gun, I was really stupid and it wasn't worth the amount of pain. The needle hardly hurt but it was slower I must admit. All I do to clean it is get some salt water on a cotton wool bud and clean inside and outside and everything it ok, it looks great and I can't wait to get it changed to a ring * I didn't at the time because I was told it was more fuss to get it pierced with a ring* If anyone is thinking of getting this piercing, go for it! It honestly doesn't hurt as much as you thing and is quick to heal. It looks so pretty too and gets you lots of attention.
