Okay this story goes back maybe a couple months when I first realized that I wanted my septum pierced. I did not think my mom was ever going to let me get it done and I did not want to do it myself even though I have pierced myself before I wanted this one as perfect as possible. Now I did not even bother asking my mom at first cause I was like yah right like she will ever say yes so I just went on the net a lot and looked at pictures of people with it done. It looked so good it just made me want it more and I started reading stories on this site and everyone with it done sounded so pleased but I still thought it was a lost cause until I found an article on how to convince your parents to let you get a piercing.

The article said if your parents are the ones that are against it all together just wait until your old enough and go get it done yourself, even though I believed that is what my parents were like I wanted this to badly to give up so I started planning it out and printed articles for them to read about septum piercing and maybe they would change their minds.
Then another miracle fell in my lap .....it is like the heavens opened up for me....well in one way....I had a big break down over a guy and my mom promised if I told her about it I could get it done but this was big so I pondered over it for a few days and decided to just go for it. I told her and it is the best thing I ever did I swear. That week I got a terrible cold and could not get it done but my mom called the place I was getting it done and ordered a retainer because that was another part of the deal: I had to hide it if I got it done. So on with the story... one of the longest weeks of my life finally past by and we went to get it done (had to go out of town).
When we got down there my mom started to procrastinate and went to every store in town first I think but we finally went and I started to get excited. You know that nervous yet so terribly happy feeling before you get pierced? (I love that feeling). So I walked in and introduced myself to the guy that would be piercing me. He said his name was noel and that the retainer had not come in yet. My heart sank right then and there I felt so disappointed I because I thought my mom would not let me get it done but she said since it had not come in I could get it pierced still and just wear a ring , I was so unbelievably happy. My sister was getting her belly button done that day as well and since she had not got a body piercing before she let me go first.
This was what I was waiting for, I went in the room and looked around it was so neat in there he had decorated it all up cool. We discussed aftercare and what I should and should not do then he cleaned my nose and stuck his finger up my nose to check for the "sweet spot" the he did a test run with a q-tip to check how he would do it with the needle then said ok remember to breathe and do not hit me! It was hardly bad at all, I felt a slight pain like when you have to sneeze so bad it hurts a little but that was it and it was through in no time. I was so proud I just sat in the chair feeling like the happiest girl in the world and it felt really cool when the needle was still in my nose and he was getting the ring ready. Putting the ring in was slightly more painful because of the threads but not to bad and it was all done. He gave me a "tissue for my issue" as he stated it because my eyes were watering like crazy (because it is connected with the tear ducts). I checked it out in the mirror and after that I have to say I believe in love at first sight because I was absolutely blown back at how good it looked on my face and how straight he got it and oh my just everything about it is so great.
Its been about a week not and its doing great it only hurt for a couple hours at first and then only when I washed it for a couple days but now it does not hurt at all. I used dove body wash up until today and then switched over to Epsom salts and hot water because noel advised me to. It is so great and all my guy friends think it is really hot as well. I have even inspired a friend to get his done, mine is so high and deep that it just so beautiful. Anyways I strongly advise anyone who wants this so get it but get it done by a professional because if it gets infected it is very serious because it is connected to your eyes and your lungs and lots of things in your body and is just something you do not want to play around with.
