Welp, I have had my nose pierced before, however it was done with a gun... Bad idea, seeing as it got infected and took months to heal. Anyways I had it for years loved it, it gave my face a more exotic look. I got nothing but complements! I was about 20 when I got my nose pierced the first time as well as my tongue. Unfortunately I was required to take it out when I started working as a server. All I did was remove it during my work shift except one night I forgot to put it back in!!! Needless to say it closed up..So a few years later, I pierced it again. What happened? I started working with the big wigs and once again had to take it out. Putting it in and taking it out everyday was becoming a hassle. This time it was also pierced with a gun and took FOREVER to heal. I finally took it out and let it close, it being a pain... Another pierced nose closed up..... bummer...

I cant even remember how many times my family told me to grow up and take it out.. BAH on them, I didn't listen,First, your only as young as your heart is, and second, I'm a grown ADULT. Besides, what I have poked on my body does not reflect how I am as a person anyways...
So... my story starts with a trip to the bank. A few weeks ago I had called the piercing shop to get information. The next few weeks that's all I could think about. I looked at pictures on this website and the more I though about it the more I wanted to do it... again! Except this time I was going to have it done the RIGHT WAY,I mean, Why the hell not!
It was a Tuesday, in the middle of the week, I had to make a trip to the bank and passed the piercing shop on my way there. I thought to myself "THAT'S IT!! IM STOPPING!" And that's exactly what I did. On my way back from the bank, I stopped... I pulled into the parking lot nervous for a reason I have no idea cause I had my nose pierced before, but the excitement grew anyways! As I walked in the shop and saw the chair in the back, a man asked me if he could help me. I told him that I wanted to get my nose pierced. The lady talking to him at that moment said "Great choice!"
I followed him to the back and signed the paper thingy, getting more nervous as I waited. I saw him take out the stuff to pierce it with as he asked me what stud I wanted.Soon as he stood up by the chair my anxiety stopped, I knew this was it! Here I was 31 year old mom/wife getting pierced! I felt GREAT!! He told me to breath out and before I knew it, the needle went in and the eye watered. He told me that I was going to feel a little tugging as the stud went in, and poof he was done. I was thinking "Wow how cool is this" For some reason I bled alot. We had a hard time getting my nose to stop! He handed me a mirror after my nose was cleaned up to show me what it looked like, and I LOVED it! Perfect size, not to big not to small and I had my nose pierced again!! GO ME!!
Well, then I remembered I had to go shopping! As I walked through the grocery store I held my head up high even knowing that my nose was really red, but was anxious to get home to see what the hubby thought. I walked into the house with the bags and sat down in my chair not saying a thing seeing if he even noticed it. He didn't see it till that night!!! Needless to say he liked it... He liked it ALOT =) (Insert censored text here) And the rest is history............... I really enjoy my piercing, I have had my tongue pierced for years and is now a 4 gauge, my nose now, and my belly! The nose piercing has healed perfectly, I just been taking care of it like he told me at the shop, and I have had no redness or infection. I cant stress enough how important the AFTERCARE is, its only been less than a week and already its healing perfect! My mom asked me over the phone the other day "Are you ever going to take that stuff out?" I replied... "Ya sure, just let me know when hell fre ezes over ummkay!"
