Yesterday I decided to go and get another piercing I already had my belly button done. I went with my friend, Kiera and her little sister Alex I went to the studio where I got my belly button done because I knew the people and I didn`t need a parent with me although my mum knew I was getting it done.We got a lift up from Kiera`s dad it was about a half an hour drive and we were nervous the whole way there.

I wasn`t so sure I wanted it done now but Kiera was so excited about getting her belly button pierced that I thought I couldn`t leave her now. We went in and spoke to Kara about jewellery etc all the usual stuff. We signed forms and Kara asked Kiera to go through she wanted me to go first but Kara was ready to pierce Kiera!
Alex and I walked around the shop for a while waiting to hear Kiera scream but she never did, we were looking at tattoos , I really liked a love heart surrounded in a celtic design and I think I might get that next. We could hear Kara talking and Kiera`s voice sounded a lot higher so she must have been nervous she came out the room with a huge smile on her face holding her stomach she had a white dressing over her tummy Kara asked me to go through.I sat on a silver chair in the corner as it was easier to pierce me if I was sitting up.I watched as Kara washed her hands with something that smelt really bad, she cleaned my new nose stud which was a rainbow titanium one with a little crystal in the middle and then she put a new pair of gloves on, I kept asking her if it was going to be sore but she reasured me and said i was going to be ok it wasn`t to bad.I shut my eyes when I saw her taking the needle out of the airtight packaging it was in, as I am a total wimp when it comes to needles!!! I felt her put a clamp on my nose it was quite sore but I was ready for it. She asked me if I was ready, I wasn`t but she put pressure on the needle and it went through. It was really sore and I tried to pull away. I felt my eyes begin to water but I didnt cry. Kara put the curl in, it stung but I was ok, I felt slightly light headed. Then it started to bleed. I think we went through a total of about 9 tissues.I wasn`t so sure I wanted my nose pierced now but it was a bit late!
We went out into the shop, Kiera and Alex greeted me with smiles but then the worst thing happened, Kiera fainted!!! She had turned blue! Kara held her head up and was speaking to her, Alex was crying and holding on to me. All this was happening and I was standing with a tissue soaked in blood over my nose. Kiera woke up about 10 minutes later she was ok just a bit shaken up. I looked in the mirror at my new piercing and I nearly cried it was horrible!!!!! Everyone else liked it but I felt sick everytime I looked at it. We went for something to eat once we left the shop and every mirror I looked in made me want to take the stud out but I wasn`t wasting my money that quickly even though the piercing was only fifteen pounds. I am going to keep it in for a while and I might begin to like it, I suppose it`s because it was covered in blood.
We then went shopping which was a massive mistake because every top I tried on nudged my nose stud which made it bleed in the end up I had to ask someone for a tissue because my nose had soaked the other 14 tissues I had with me!
I have had my stud in for a day now and still don`t like it but it might grow on me, Kiera is fine and she loves her belly button ,I cant say the same for my nose though!!!! My advice to anyone wanting their nose pierced is to be sure you really want it done and dont be like me. It does hurt but the pain only lasts for a few minutes. It only hurts when you clean it or yawn after that, and wear a plaster over it at night to stop it falling out you should clean it the usual way with a cotton bud and warm salty water, make sure you get right behind the stud to get any dried blood and you should clean around it on the inside of your nose aswell. If you are sure you want it done just go for it I`m sure it will look great on YOU!!!!!!
