So what if everyone has their nose pierced? I loved the way it looked plus I would be the first in my family to have it. Coming from an old fashion Mexican family, I knew that they wouldn't like it. I didn't care.

It all started out as a joke. My step dad always asked when I would get it done. But I never took him seriously. It was right around my birthday in April. I had money but my mom said no. She bribed me instead. I could get it done this summer id I had at least a C in my math class. Well that didn't go to well. I had an "f" and just forgot all about it and carried on.

In late July my aunt mentioned that I should get my labret done instead. I am very close to my aunt seeing how there's only a 13 year difference between us and we have a lot in common. So I looked it up and fell in love. My mom never said no. So I saved up money and had a perfect date in mind. My mom told me the morning of the day I was to get it that I couldn't because of the risks. So I asked for my nose instead and she said no. That's were my stepdad came into play.

About a week later he talked my mom into it. That day we went out of town to San Jose, ca. we went to my cousin's graduation and I told my grandma that I was getting my nose pierced. She laughed and said if I did she would get her belly button done. My grandma can't take any pain and I knew she didn't take me seriously. That Friday my aunt came back to Sacramento with us to visit. That night my step dad took me but it was closed. Saturday was set.

We all woke up, showered, ate and left. we were gonna go to Costco but decided to see if Absolute Perfection would pierce my nose. they said they would. So we signed papers and Steve said to have a seat while he got everything ready. That's when I noticed the place. It was clean, big and nice. They had a huge comfy couch and a kitten. There were posters on the walls and they had a big album of tattoo's and piercings that they have done. Steve called me back and my stepdad came with me while my aunt, cousin and mom sat on the couch.

We walked into a back room that was filled with posters and this big dentist like chair with a tray next to it. Steve washed his hands and put on gloves while I sat down. He came over and cleaned the inside and outside of my nose on the right side. He marked my nose with a purple pen and held up a mirror asking if I liked the placement. I told him I did so he clamped my nostril. He told me to breathe in through my mouth and out through my nose. When I breathed out, he shoved the needle through. It didn't really hurt and the pain, well more like a sting, lasted merely seconds. My right eye teared up and he said I was done. I looked in my mirror and loved it. It was a ring and I thought it rocked. He told me to sit for a minute and then explained cleaning procedures. He said to clean it twice a day with anti bacterial soap that has no scent. I was to swing the ball back and forth 5-10 times then rinse under water 15-20 times. He gave me a paper that explained everything and h ad his phone number so I could call if I had any questions. I paid got up and left. No one could believe I got it done. We went to Costco and I got compliments from complete strangers.

My family didn't see it until a month later in September. No one liked it. One of my older aunts told me she wouldn't look at me until I took it out. But she did eventually. My friends all liked it and I was surprised that not a lot of people have it at my school. I changed it to a stud a few weeks ago and now most of my family loves it. My nose piercing inspired my aunt to get her tongue pierced.

It's completely healed and I love it. I just noticed this morning that the actual stud is missing and must have fallen out. It was clear and now people mistake it as a blue one because the inside is blue. So I have to go get a new one. I am also thinking about getting an industrial now. If you want this piercing you should get it. I haven't had any problems and it looks great!
