Ok this was my first body piercing experience. At one point I wanted to get my belly button pieced but then it got way to popular so I lost interest in it ,but I still wanted a piercing. How I came to deciding on my nose I do not know. I mean I really couldn't figure out which one I wanted to get. They all looked so cool but one day my friend asked if I wanted to get it done with her and I guess that was it, I was going to get it done.

I was very dead set about getting it pierced as soon as possible because I wanted to get it done so bad. Before I went I did some research about it ,in case their was anything I needed to know. I actually went to BME a lot to read their stories because they were really useful. Overall though I really wasn't sure what to expect.
I was so anxious and excited on the car ride to the place and waiting to get it done. Half of the time on the car ride their my mother was trying to talk me out of it, but I knew no matter what she said I was going to get it done because I really wanted it. I never was nervous at all throughout the whole time. I was so anxious though I tried not to show it though because I didn't want to seem like an idiot. The place that I got it done had a lot of tattoo drawings up on the walls. It also had to large cases with some various body jewelry inside. Once they were ready I went down a hallway to this room that had some more tattoo designs on the walls a TV playing and a large chair that was slightly smaller then a dentists. I had my friend sit next to me because she wanted to get it done and she wanted to see what it looked like. He first asked me which side I wanted and then rubbed the outside and I think the inside of m knows with some antibacterial stuff. Then he made a dot o n my nose and told me to check it in the mirror. It looked cool to me. So then I sat back down and he unwrapped a package to get the needle. He told me to take a breath and I closed my eyes and he put the needle through. Alright I have got to say I have a good tolerance for pain so this felt like nothing to me it really didn't hurt me much. It felt like one prick of pain then it was through. About 1 sec later I felt the blood come down on my lip. He said looks like you're a bleeder. I figured my nose was going to bleed because I had never had a bloody nose or anything. It kept bleeding for about 1 or 2 min but my friend was quick to make the remark "wow um yeah looks like its bleeding ". He told me to keep my head up so it would stop. That's when he put the jewelry in which I wouldn't have even known about if I wasn't watching because I didn't feel it all. Then he cleaned it up and told me to go look at it. I thought it looked so cool looking when I saw it in the mirro r. Granted it was still a little red but I could tell how cool it look ed. Then he gave me so antibiotic treatment for your ears (but on the back it said it could also be for the nose) and care instructions. Then he said it came to 45$ I paid them and left.
Afterwards it basically felt kind of sore and sort of like someone had punched me in the nose. It bleed a tiny bit on the way home but it hasn't bleed since then. I was so happy the way it looked. My friend is actually going to get it done now next week. Overall it was a fairly easy piercing with very little pain to me. It just felt like a prick then it was through. Id say if your going to get a first body piercing get your nose done because it has relatively easy aftercare and looks very cool with a stud. Now its been about a couple days after I got it done and it only hurts when I flare my nostrils and when I sometimes hit it. I'm still adjusting to it but I think Ill get the hang of it. On a last note believe me try be wary that you have a piercing there because its really is to whack it and not only does it sort of hurt but its bad for the piercing. If you live in the tri state area I highly recommend going to Mckenzies because they did such a wonderful job on my pie rcing.
