So I wake around 2:00 in the afternoon. I wasn't to sure what my day would consist of. I get something to eat and go on my computer to search up some stuff till my friend got off of school. I'm looking around at nothing in particular, then I decided hey why not check out BME! (which I do everyday)So I head on over there and as soon as I reach your homepage, it hits me! I want to get my septum done, and today is the day to do it! So I jump out of my chair and headed towards my moms room. I walk in casually and ask, "hey mom wanna help me out with somethin'..." and of course she wonders what I want and is it expensive, I tell her no it's free! So by then she has some what interest in what I had to say. I said I would like to get my septum pierced today and if she could come in and give me permission to get that, that would be great! So she hesitates for a little but she replys with a yes. So I'm like yay, when my friend gets home I'm sure we can head up to the piercing sho p and get that done! So in anticipation waiting for my friend to get home, I get back on my computer and continue my search on BME. I have wanted to get my septum pierced for quite awhile, but I never really had the motivation nor money to get it, of course until my friends sister who is a piercer said,"Sure, come on in anytime you'll be great practice!"(and for free!) So I'm just looking around BME nothing in particular checking out the cool stuff, and my friend goes online.the one I was waiting to for till she got out of school) I'm like, "hey Janine what's up, I was thinkin' 'bout gettin' my septum done today!" Of course she was into it. So she says she will pick me up in 10 minuets. I go and get ready and she picks me up soon after. I was very calm, cool, and collective, seeing it was not my first piercing, I knew some what what to expect.

When we got to the shop Janine's sister came out smiling ready to do the procedure. Now Aislyn had only did one septum before mine... I of course wasn't to be critical of her work, because eventually septum piercings move to an even spot, plus it was for free! Aislyn took me to her piercing studio and had me lay down on the chair with my head opposite the head rest.I then layed my head upside down and all the blood started to rush to my head. My heart was beating very hard in anticipation of that wonderful septum rush I had been dreaming about. Aislyn the put on her gloves and applied disinfectant solution that smelled pretty weird and she stuck her fingers around in my nose trying to feel for the right spot. Her first septum piercing she felt around for 30 minuets, but mine it was more like 5 minuets. I was going for a 12ga
so she used a 10ga needle so it would have room to move around. Aside from our kidding around she was very serious and concentrated on giving a perfect septum piercing. After she found the place to pierce she draed a purple line where the incision would pass though. by then all this blood was rushing to my head I was a bit light headed and my adrenaline was going like nuts. I wasnt nervous the least bit, I was more excited to get it done. I took a big breath and she placed the reciever on the other side of my nostril hole and began to stick 10ga needle through. It was an awesome rush of endorphins, I felt that lovely chill run up my body, it was pure bliss. My eyes definately
teared up though, like very much so. It was like I just peeled 420 onions! after she took the needle out she slid my 12ga retainer in, which I needed for work.
There was no pain during my piercing. I actually never had an ouch from any of my piercings. I was very pleased with the results. I was of course the last to see it, but it was wonderful and perfectly straight. Blood was quite present though. It took about 6 qtips to sop it all up. I think it was because all the blood went to my head or something or maybe because she pierced it with a 10ga needle. Either way I was very pleased with my brand new septum. After we left to go smoke some herb and play some pool, and here I am now writing my BME Experience! Thanks and happy piercing!
