I went up town one day with my boyfriend and he decidedto have his nose pierced. i loved the idea so i went with him to a studio and he got his done.

Mum and Dad didn't like the idea of it at all, Mum was all like " it will be all infected and look horrible and u cant wear it for school" and dad said i would look like a freak ( which doesnt really bother me considering im a goth and get it all the time!). Mum and dad finally aggreed, but only if i get it done proffesionally and with a small piece of jewellery, which i decided on a small blue crystal stud ( which i was later going to change into a loop after the healing process, as i need 2 wear a stud at school so it doesnt get noticed).
eventually a week later went to a small ,local ,very clean and proffesional tattoo and body piercing studio in my town called elite. when i went in they were very friendly ,as i have had piercings from there before i know how high quality the piercings are and how friendly the staff are, they have pierced my ears lobes eight times, and i also have a piercing through the cartillage at the top, so this was going to be my first facial piercing.
I went to the desk and asked about nose piercing, they said that i could have it done with a needle or with a gun, i thought about it for a while as i have heard stories about gun methods going wrong, but they assured me that it was a proffesional nose gun and with a nose stud for piercing , not an ear stud. i agreed to the gun method.
The lady behind the desk said that it would cost £8, so i payed her and the man who was doing the piercing ,Tony, asked me to come into the room at the back so he could explain to me the proceedure and after care.
He told me that he was going to put the back of the gun, which looked like a tube up the back of my nose and i would then here a "crunching" noise, he said this would be the sterile capsule breaking. He also told me that it would make my eyes water ,as this is how the body usually reacts at first.
He told me that it would take around 4 to 6 weeks 2 heal if i cleansed it properly, he reccommended using salt water, ( which is very effective). he then asked me if i still wanted it done and if i had any questions, i told him 2 go ahead with it and asked how long it would be before i could change the piercing stud, he said 4-6 weeks depending on how well it heals. still i told him 2 go ahead.
He then put on a pair of latex gloves and got out a stud in a sterile wrapper, he got it all prepared and put the gun on the table whilst he cleansed my nose with a alchol wipe to make sure it was clean.
he asked which side i would like it on, i said the right and he marked a place on my nose and asked if i liked where it was, i thought it was fine, he then inserted the back of the gun up my nostril and he said on the count of three he would click it.
one, two , THREE!! bang! it was done!! and surprisingly it didnt hurt that much!! my eyes watered a little, and he gave me a tissue. i thanked him and went home to show mum.
mum liked it and dads fine with it, ive had it done for 3 weeks now and its healing up fine, aslong as i remember to clean it.
i would definatley reccommend the studio to anyone, it is done in such a good atmosphere,
next i plan to get my tongue and lip done, ill be 16 soon so mum and dad cant say anything!!!
my friends always ask me questions about it , like does it hurt,OF COURES IT DOES! YOUR HAVING METAL SHOVED THROUGH YOUR NOSE! but it all depends on your pain thresh hold so only have a piercing done if your absolutley sure you want one, never be talked into it by a friend or anyone!!
