Well, i had thought about it for a while and i decided that i wanted to get my nostril pierced. I knew my mother would be okay with it but my baba was another story. He's extremely conservative about piercings well anyways i did some research on the piercing BME did help a lot thanks i typed up an essay on why i felt i needed this done and how it would contribute to my happiness. Now it was time to spring the idea on my parents dun dun dun......

So i had my parental consent and my dad new it was comming now onto the day dun dun dun......
...So my uncle was visiting i was in good health and taking iron vitamins just to help the healing. So my mom my brother my uncle, me, and my nose hopped into the car. I phoned dave and he said he was ready for me. When we arrived I was surprisingly calm we went in and honestly the place was not the doctor's office everyone talks about. but i trusted dave and new people who had been pierced by him so i didnt judge the place as dirty. dave walks in and the moment of truth.....
..... i go in and sit in the chair no it wasnt the dentist type chair it was a leopard print chair which was really funky my legs hung off it though lol i'm really short. Dave and i decided on a 20gauge cbr i know thats kind of small but it was what i had come in wanting due to the fact that i'm not really keen on nostril screws which are usually 18/16 gauge and i think that a smaller cbr looks cuter on my nose.....
...the moment of truth come and my mom bursts in saying she wants to watch yay! so dave puts marks me up perfect the first time. he cleans my nose changes his gloves takes his clamps out of the autoclave machine takes the needle out of it's package and puts them in a cleaning solutionthen he puts lubricant onto the needle puts on clamps which are sort of uncomfotable not painful but the put on pressure. Dave asks me if i'm ready i said does that matter lets do it...
...so he pushes the needle through it honestly did not hurt it just felt like pressure some pressure on my nostril so we were done and dave was shocked to how i didnt tear...okay so i'm pierced..he explains the healing to me and i'm off....
....so healing it was good i put rubbing alchohol twice a day and any other time with soap. at times i thought i was infected but it wasn't about two weeks after i started getting TONS of crusties but that blew over. and now everythings great.
It went by so easy my mom wants one so we're going next winter her for her nosrtil and me for my belly butto i also plan on venoms which look like a ton of fun. And i'm waiting for a candy striped cbr for my foot surface piercing which is dinky and cute. If you are considering this piercing ask yourself. Is this what i really want? will i keep this? am i willing to be careful choose a clean person and clean the piercing everyday? If you are go for it. The expirience is great fun and you'll never forget it.
NOW for you people who think piercing guns are suitable think again after i got mine done this girl instantly had to have hers done too she ran as fast as her chubby legs could carry her to claires and got it done with a gun and it got infected and she has a keloid on her nostril yuck! she had to take the stud out and now her nose looks a mess dont bother get it done with a needle seriously it didnt hurt me at all. It might hurt you but i can only imagine it being minimal.
And as for you people who think piercings are evil i see where you are comming from but if this is something that will add to a person's happiness how can you shun it completely? yes at times people may go over the top with piercings but for those of us who know what we want seek it and go for it there is no reason to put us down. Please try to understand and consider what you are thinking at the moment.
Now the moral of my story is not to judge a place by its cover dave was great clean and efficient and i didnt really need to fill in a form I just needed my mom there with me. So have fun and happy piercing.
