Okay so here it is.

I was 18 and already had my lip labret nipples navel, and nose pierced. I had done this all myself when I was younger. I had also experimented w/ self scarification but that is something completley different.
First ill prelude by letting you know why to the best of my knowledge, why ive alays been interested in body mod. Well ok I actually dont know why but I remeber as a little kid looking through my grandfathers national geographics and just being amazed by all the mods. Ive always felt that individuality and anything new to the eye was beautiful. Granted piecing isnt all that individual at this point but what can I say I am absolutley hooked. I feel most accomplished right after I am pierced and I have no idea what it is about it. But anyways on w/ the story.
My boyfriend and I had got in a fight and we needed to relieve some tension, so we decided we should get pierced. He (my boyfrriend) at this point already had a apodrovia and pubic monde septum nipple navel and 6 surface piercings on his ribs. H had stretched apodrovia to about a 2 gauge and really trusted the guy that we were going to go to, and therefore so did I. His friend had just opened up a brand new shop and he wanted to go check it out anyway so we figured 2 birds one stone. I couldnt decide whether to start off the corsette on my back or to get my septum done. For anyone who doesnt know what I am referring to when I say corsette it is essentially 6 surfaces piercings on your lower back three on one side and three on the other, and after it is done you can thread a piece of ribbon through them and it looks like a corsette. Im not sure if this is the technical name but you get the opinion. In my opinion this is just about one of the raddest piercings that you can get done. Although it seems that everyone I tell that i want to do it thinks it is disgusting. But hell That doesnt mean a thing to me.
Anyways I decided that it would be best to do all the corsette piercings at the same,time so the septum it was. I have to admit I was a little nervous, but it was nothin at all. The only thing that happened was I looked like I was crying like a little bitch cus my eyes were so watery from the nerves in my nose.
In the past I had always gotten an adrenalin rush and I think that it helped out w/ the pain factor, but this time i hardly had one at all because i had been pierced so many times up until this point. But it still wasnt bad.
I had seen my friend get her septum pierced at a different shop that I wont mention because they completley suck and I dont want to piss anyone off, but hers made a horrible cracking noise and bled alot. So as you can see I had a reason to be a little nervous about this piercing.
I think that of the whole entire experience the only thging that bugged me was the healing process. Now I am pretty good about taking care of my piercings and I have never had one get infected, and this one didnt either. But have you ever smelled and open wound? I think we usually dont know how bad they are because they arent directly in our face. well you know what, your septum is. It smelled really really terrible and I kept it very clean. I thought at first that maybe I was just weird but after talking to other ppl who have had it done they have had the same experience. Hmmm and what else. oh yea , this sounds nasty but when it was drainig and any of the discharged dried it was a real bitch to move at all and made my eyes water really badly. It hits the same nerves that must be affected when you sneeze because I had that sensation quite frequently fer about a month. I know this sounds like alot of crap to put of w/ but it is definenetly worth it.
Oh yea and the shop I listed im pretty sure it has changed names. but the addy is right and it is in a back of a barbor shop. Jamie is a great piercer I definently reccomend going there.
