Jun 19, 2008 My first piercing - in Japan One week after my first piercing. I was concerned about yellowish discharge and a white lump growing out of my tongue. I knew that the yellow stuff could be lymphatic fluid... but was still concerned, because if I wiped it away, it came back within 10-15 minutes. I brushed the white lump away a few times, but it just kept growing back. So I decided to leave it alone. (by Eiichi, Selfish Crew, Fukuoka, Japan)

Jun 19, 2008 My first piercing - in Japan 2 weeks later, my tongue is back to a normal size. Eating is no problem. Yellow discharge, a white lump growing out of the hole, and fleshy ring growing around the piercing on the bottom of my tongue - all that has gone away. I changed to a smaller, lighter titanium barbell. Everything appears to be OK! (by Eiichi, Selfish Crew, Fukuoka, Japan)
