Well my fascination for piercing began a couple of years ago when I was like 12-13 i think. Back then i only had my ear lobes pierced and the first piercing I wanted was a cartilage piercing. I begged my mom to have it for so long, when i just could have gone to the hairdresser and get it. I was really paranoid then. But since, I've six new holes in my ears and i've taken the cartilage piercing myself since i was tired of trying to convince my mother to take me to a studio for such a little piercing.

Anyways, when I had punctured my ears a couple of times I got sick of only being pierced in my ears, I wanted something new. Something that not everybody had. Everyone has their bellybutton's pierced, and I think it's so cliché. The tongue piercing was the first I really fell in-love with. It was perfect, it looked so cute when u talked I could easily hide it and it was said to heal very easily. I was only like 14 then, and I knew that I couldn't ask my mother to get it because I was so young. And eventually I just forgot about it. But this year the itch came back and i started to read some BME stories and look at the pictures.

I was in-love again, and this time I was determined to get it! I started to look for studios in stockholm, and age limits as-well as the laws. Actually there are no real laws that forbids people under 18 to get pierced. I looked up as much information as i could find, and soon enough I was a real piercing expert. So i finally got the guts to ask my mom to get a tongue piercing. But it didn't work, I tried to convince her by showing her all the info and to try to explain that it wasn't so dangerous and that it can't rot. besides it's my body, I should be able to do what i want. anyways I told her that I'm 16 and that i legally can get pierced since there are no laws. So I looked up salong astron that pierces you if you're at-least 15 and i read stories about people who had gotten pierced there.

My mom is gone this week and I have the house for myself so I had prepared everything to be done this saturday/yesterday. So yesterday I woke up and i was a bit nervous, I wasn't sure if i really could go get pierced without my mom knowing. But i decided to call the parlor and ask if i she had time for me. She said i could come whenever, so me and my friend quickly got ready and we went into town. I wanted to do it early so that I wouldn't back out of it. When we finally arrived I wasn't nervous at all, she asked me to fill in a paper with some information but then I had to wait, there were a couple of person in-front. And after waiting for almost 30 min I got tired of waiting. But of course with my luck, she didn't have any sterile barbells for the tongue so i had to wait another 15.

When it finally was my turn I was trying to be really calm. First I had to clean my mouth with something called hexidin for a minute which tasted really bad and then I sat in the chair. She was very kind and she placed the little dot exactly where i wanted it. I was so relieved because I was worried that my tongue couldn't be pierced since I thought i had quite a lot of veins beneath it. Anyways I was lucky, she put some numbing thing on the needle and on my tongue which was relieving. When she was about to stick the needle through my tongue I saw my friend's face and i got so scared that i closed my eyes and then I just felt I tiny little poke and something sliding through the muscles. It was a weird felling but it absolutely didn't hurt. I then held up the mirror and looked so sick and disgusting me with that huge needle in my tongue. The piercing itself took like ten seconds and it didn't really hurt afterwards, just a bit under my tongue.

Afterwards I went to McDonalds and got a cup of ice and I didn't talk for an hour. but later on I met two of my friends I started to talk again , and one of them thought my piercing was so cool and beautiful so she decided to get hers done as-well since she had been wanting one for ages too. So we went back and she got pierced too. It was so weird to get pierced and then go and see when someone else got pierced. We were so happy! I couldn't believe that we both had gotten pierced. So we took lots of pictures together which looked like the poster for "Thirteen" . Then we went to see some other girls from my class and couldn't help ourselves and we just had to show everybody our piercings.

After I got pierced my tongue feels great! It doesn't hurt so much only under my tongue sometimes when i twist it in some weird direction. I haven't really been so good as i should have been. I've talked alot because I'm very lucky and I can talk normally without the lisp. I can eat solids, if i cut in into small bits and put them in on the side. I love food to much to give it up. And kissing without tongue is fine too. And I always clean my mouth regularly. I drink water all then time and I suck on ice and take ibuprofen to get the swelling to go down even though it hasn't swelled up that much. I think i've been very lucky with my piercing since i haven't had any major complications yet.

I strongly recommend this piercing it doesn't hurt it beautiful and perfect I love it! So go get your tongues pierced everyone!!!! GOOD LUCK
