I very first fell in love with the Tongue Web piercing one day while I was surfing b.m.e I was looking at pictures of people with multiple tongue ring's being as I wanted another soon. Obviously I am not new to getting pierced, I have my nose, lip, tongue, eyebrow and several ears so I wanted to add to my collection,
At A Glance Author Kristie Contact Kristie_Murphy_666@hotmail.com When A month ago Artist Tim Studio Nova Scotia Tattooing Back to my story, I was looking at multiple tongue piercing and I accidently clicked "Tongue Related Piercing's" it was fate! I looked at the little barbell hanging onto someone's tongue web and fell instantly in love! I immediately called my mother over to the computer screen...Let's just say she was more then disgusted and yelled and told me the usual spiel "your not getting any more metal in that face of your's and your father would kill us." I knew however I would get my piercing, My mom? pushover. It took a week! seven days! to convince her.
The original day I went to get my web done, The apprentice Tia was on and I love Tia dearly but did not trust her piercing skill's as she'd only been there 1 month, So heavy hearted and un-pierced I left.
The next day I got up excited!
Today was the day!
The wait was over!
My family (minus dad, He's working in Alberta) piled into our car. When we got there Tim wasn't there! How could he not be here I thought! Thank god Tia told us he would be there in 10 minutes...which for Tim meant an hour god love him ha.
Tim finally arrived and took the 3 people in front of us in. When everyone was gone and we were the last ones left he called out to come on in. "We come here so much we're like furniture!" my mom said to Tim, He said "Ha ha" and actually laughed for a long time which eased my ever growing nerve's.
I sat down in the big red dentist chair and laid back fiddled with my hair and waited for him to put on his gloves and shove a needle through my web. Tia was watching us so Tim explained everything to do to her, I gargled Listerine mouth wash for 30 second's. Then he bent the dentist chair all the way back so it was straight and low like a bed, Tim moved so he could get to my web, But he ended up right above my head...so I was kind of by this hot piercer's crotch right in front of my mother, Wow awkward! Then... Tim told me to open my mouth all the way, no open more, more, there! Then he started talking to Tia so I was left with my mouth hanging open drooling all over myself for 5 minute's. He got the clamp's which didn't hurt at all, then the needle...Well maybe I have a tough web because it hurt like hell! I got up and looked at my beautiful new barbell in my mouth and smiled.
As soon as we walked out I tried to talk and realized how much it hurt like hell. I went home, followed Tim's aftercare to the T (Ha ha T for Tim) But I awoke one morning and looked at it in the mirror... Ah the right ball was totally embedded into my web! I pushed, bled, pushed some more, bled some more and finally got it through but every couple hour's it would disappear again... This ritual continued for a week until I got mad and stopped cleaning with mouthwash...Suddenly the over the top swelling was gone! Turn's out there was Alcohol in my precious mouthwash! I hadn't thought to check because I had used it to heal my normal tongue piercing!
Anyway my tongue web is perfectly healed now and looking great, I recommend anyone who is thinking on getting it to get it. And if you live in Nova Scotia make the trip to Dartmouth, PRINCE ALBERT Street (insert joke here) and go to Scotia Tattoo, They are extremely professional and some of the nicest guy's ever! Except the secretary guy Andrew, He's rude but just shrug him off.
I hear it is a great accessory to make out and everything with, I would recommend the no Oral play for a month to a month and a half.
Even my mother love's my web and is currently thinking on getting her's done! Then she can lay by Tim's crotch! ha! And you have to love the reaction's you get!
