Well first of all I will start by saying a bit of my background story. I am 15 years old male, I am from Brazil, have lived in Miami Florida, and currently live in Mexico. It all started 1 year ago the day my mother let me get my left eyebrow done. After that I became as some say addicted to piercing. Since then I have had 3 eyebrow piercing, snakebits, tongue web, ears at 0g, and middle tongue at 4g.

At first sight I knew that some day I would get them done. About 3 months pass and I had time, money and really wanting it. So some friends passed over my house, I told my mom I was going to Ritual to get my tongue pierced.
My mom is okay with myself getting pierced because she knows that I know where to get them done professionally and she trusts them (same place where she got her two tattoos). So me and my friends got the bus and off we where to go to the studio. We made the decision to stop by Fundadores witch is a place where there are many little shops and most of them are for Body Modification.
Their I got two acrylic transparent tongue straight barbell for 5 dollars each and off we were again to go to the studio witch was like 4 blocks from where we were. So when we got there I greeted the guy behind the counter that I have seen for about 20 times. He said the usual "What's Next?" I replied Venoms witch he already knew what they were and I showed him the jewelry. He obviously said that acrylic was not a good material to start with but that if I wanted it like that then it would be that way.
As they already know that I am allowed to get pierced because my mom called them the first time and said that whenever I went to get pierced I had her permission (my mom does trust me). So they just made me sign the paper and I went back to wait for a client that was there before me. About 10 minutes later comes Pajaro the really cool and comforting guy that has done all of my piercing. He came up to me greeted me and said for you I will leave them at 20 dollars both (The original price is 30 both).
I already very satisfied because of the price went in to the back room witch most people call the "dentist room" or "dentist chair" and was ready for my adventure. I wasn't at all nervous just anxious.
He gave me some mouthwash for about 30 seconds while he told me the new piercing he had gotten and how was the conference on the capital of Mexico witch he invited me to but I couldn't go because of school.
Then he dried my tongue about 3 times and marked the two points and told me to check if it was good. The right one was a bit off angle so I told him and he said that he marked it wrong probably because I had my tongue sticking out differently. So he marked it correctly witch was perfect and on we went. He got on the clamps witch do hurt a bit but not SO much. He got the needle and pierced the first side, now this was the most painful mod I have ever had in my entire life, It hurt like hell and I consider myself someone that resists pain. Then he passed in the barbell witch hurt but not as bad as the piercing itself.
Then comes the other side he repeated the same process dried the tongue got the clamps checked the placement again and pierced it again. Now this one hurt even more than the first one and bled even more but at least it was the last one. He put the barbell witch hurt the same as the past one and screwed on the balls and finally he gave me back my tongue he gave me the cleaning instruction witch I have heard a million times and the sheet with the aftercare.
Then I thanked him ,tipped him, and paid at the counter. Said goodbye to the guy behind the counter and left. I went back to my house in a Taxi checking out my new mod witch I LOVED (they where so straight and perfect). Got home drank some cold water with a lot of ice. My tongue did swell a bit and it was a pain in the ass to eat but I managed to get that rid of. It has been about 1 week since that day and my tongue is healing perfectly, I haven't had any problems at all.
Now for those who want to be different and want venoms think about it cause they hurt (at least in my case they did) and they cost a lot of money even though I didn't pay so much for it. But in the end the pain, the little eating and the swollen tongue is definitely worth it.
