I had wanted a tongue piercing for the longest time. I originally wanted a standard center piercing. Then one day as I was doing research (I'm such a freak I have to research everything about anything I'm doing, because I don't want anything going wrong) I stumbled across BME, and then I found pictures of venoms, the moment I saw then I knew that was what I was getting. Before going to the Kingdom I emailed this girl whose experience I read on here to ask her how she liked it, and after going there myself I liked the shop, the people there were pretty cool.

So anyways it was Monday January 24th (I kept a diary so I have all the dates), anyways I had just gotten out of my modern topics class, it was like 12:15 pm and I had a break till like 2, so I met up with my friend and we walked to the shop, before going in I had a smoke just to calm the nerves (and that obviously didn't work)... anyways there I waiting for my friend to get done with her ears (I convinced her to get her ears done, for some reason I didn't want to be the only one getting something done), and I was literally hopping around I was so nervous (I don't know why) I was freaking out this other girl that was getting her belly done (she and her friend stayed around to watch me getting my tongue done, I didn't know them)....

Anyways after my friend I do the mouth wash thing, sat down and stuck my tongue out, he put on his gloves, he did a quick checking and said all was fine, after that he got all ready, and told me to stick out my tongue and was moving my tongue all around making sure he placed it right and didn't puncture anything important... and as he did that he was talking and making me laugh and talking to my friend (he was really nice)... so he got the clamps and placed them, this hurt, then he took the needle and put it through the left side, this didn't really hurt it was like a very nice feeling... then he did the same thing for the other side, this one hurt a little bit more but it was still like a pleasurable kind of pain... after it was done he checked out the tongue and the placing and all, and I was done... after that I bought Cepacol, the mouthwash (this is the only thing I used)...

The first day I was talking all funny and my friends kept making fun of me, when I got home I was able to choke down some soup, it was really weird to eat because I wasn't used to the metal... the second day wasn't that bad I ate some mashed potatoes with eggs, that was fun to watch, I would pick the food up with my hands and stick it in the back of my throat to try and swallow it whole, because I was trying not to move my tongue too much, I didn't want it to start hurting ... seriously soup, mashed potatoes and ice cream are the best things, so is any cold beverage ... even thought it was strange to walk around eating ice cream in the cold, people would be like aren't you cold eating that... for the rest of the week it didn't really hurt, it was more of an itch, except when I talked too much, and when I ate solid foods which I the same day I got the piercing because my parents didn't know what I had done... funny thing they haven't noticed anything... that's how smoothly things have gone, no bleeding, not a lot of swelling and I was able to eat and talk within a day or two, and right now they are well healed... I had a slight lisp because I wasn't used to the barbells in my mouth, and the balls came lose once, that was uncomfortable specially since I was eating... overall the whole experience has been great and my tongue has never looked better, I love my venoms. But I do hate how my friends keep making fun of how I'm a lesbian that has two shafts and four balls in her mouth... anyways anyone out there thinking of getting venoms my advice is look for a good place to go, and take care of them, follow the advice the piercing guy gives you and all will be fine... the venoms are so awesome and fun to play with = ) it's great when I'm on the train and people just stare at me, I love the attention = D

Good luck to anyone thinking of getting them, and email me if you have any questions...
