Well, last September I got the center of my tongue done. That was not a big deal. It didn't hurt at all, I barely felt it. They only bad thing was that I couldn't talk or eat for like a week, but it's really worth it in the long run, it's been so fun to have! Then just about a week or two ago, I decided I needed something new and I'm only 15 so I like to have them all hidden...so I thought maybe I'd get two more in my tongue!
At A Glance Author Tyler Warner Contact Twphatboy@aol.com When A month ago Artist Danny Studio Defiance Location Butternit Street, Syracuse, NY I called up my buddy Greg, to see if he would drive me out to Defiance (Butternut St. in Syracuse NY) of course, him being obsessed with piercing wanted to drive me so bad so we decided that we would go the next day! I was so scared and excited!
See you have to understand that I can get piercing at age 15 because the place I go to, you have to be 16 and they have this thing where if your parent brings you in and signs the papers once they write your name down in a book and the next time you go in, they don't make you fill out all that paperwork again, they just look your name up in the book and ask for your picture ID, it really just saves them and the customers the time and stress. So, I went in there and normally I never have a problem, I just tell them what I want and walk on back but this time there was this guy there that I have never seen before and I was like "Hey I'm here to get a Venom done in my tongue..." and he handed me the papers and I go..."I'm in your books and here is my ID" and he's like..."Sorry man I don't know anything about you, I'm not going to do it..." I was so angry, and then the wife of the guy that owns the place walked out and was like..."Hey! What's going on here?!" and the guy told her and she's like..."No Danny...this kid comes in here like every other month to get something...your going to do it...and your only going to charge him $60 for it!" See it was suppose to be $50 for each hole....adding up to $100 but hey, they only charged me $60, so I was so happy!
I was kind of hesitant to let this guy poke me just because I have never seen him before but hey...I have to do what I have to do. We started talking and he seemed like a great guy. He knew what he was doing, so he took a look at my tongue and was talking and he said that I have an odd tongue because the web of my tongue is very close to the tip of my tongue so it's hard to stick it out a lot and there's not much room under my tongue for bars and such. So he actually drew me a picture on a napkin showing me what he was going to have to do, he was angling them and slanting them...making them fit perfect in my mouth. It really impressed me, I was just glad he knew what he was going to do because I sure as heck didn't!
Then he marked my tongue with this nasty purple marker and then clamped my tongue, which to me, killed. I didn't like the clamp that much, I just think he had the rubber band wrapped around it way to tight but hey I'm over it! Then he stuck the needle threw the first one. Well it was more painful then the middle one I had already done but the first one wasn't that bad; it was tolerable. Then he stuck the clamp on the other side of my tongue which seemed to hurt more just because I had just gotten one done already and it was sore but the clamp went on and it hurt. Then he pierced the second one. It burned a lot, it really, really hurt...it burned badly but I gripped the seat and took it. Then once he took the clamp off I was fine...it was awesome looking completely! Oh my god! It's the most awesome thing ever! Just instant message me to see some pictures of it. Now the after care. The day after I woke up, oh god, I couldn't talk at all; it was just blah sound coming out of my mouth. My tongue was massive and it was extremely sore. I found some Naproxen though (pain killers)...I highly recommend getting pain killers for the few days after because it hurts for a few days where you just want to cry. Kind of to the point where, even if you could talk, you wouldn't want to because it hurt so much. For about a week, mine was kind of moody, one day I'd wakeup, everything fine and great, the next day I'd wake up and my tongue would be swollen again...I don't know...it was weird. It's been about a month now and its awesome...98-100% of the pain is gone; I can talk perfect and everything.
Oh yea and I forgot eating! Well, let's just say for the first few days, stay with the soft stuff. It's not that you can't chew or anything, you have fine movement with your tongue unlike with just the first one, it just hurts to move your tongue a lot so it hurts to eat, so I mean once the pain goes away and the swelling is down then you can talk and eat like anyone else. It's really fun to play with and it looks cool too and it's the best on oral stimulation!!!!!!!!
