So I just got my tongue pierced today, Sunday August 17, 2003. I've been wanting to get it pierced for the longest time, probably for about a year now. I'm 18 and was able to get it on my own so that was cool.

The first time that I told my parents about it, they freaked out and were hysterical. They said they would never look at me again. So after letting the idea soak in their heads for about two weeks, I finally got it done.

Last night I actually partied hard and got wasted, good thing I did all that before I got the piercing.

After telling everyone at the party my plans about the tongue piercing, one other guy said he wanted to get his nipple pierced at the same time. So I thought, sweet, someone else will be there that I know too.

So Sunday rolls around and we are all hung over, but not throwing up or anything. And we eat out at IHOP. I could barely eat because I was so nervous about getting it done soon. But I forced myself to finish all my food because I knew that would be my last hearty meal for a while.

So we head on over to Leopard Lounge to get the piercing. There ended up being a total of 8 of us who went to the shop. It was a pretty cool place and it only cost 30 for the piercing and the bar. I was expecting like 60 for it. Then, they said they were ready for me and brought me back to the room. The first thing I noticed when he brought me to the back was that it smelled incredibly clean and sterile. It was so strong. Then, I sat down on the "doctor's chair" and I was nervous as hell about the procedure. He had me gargle with some listerine stuff or something and then I put on the "dentist bib", to catch all of my druel. He said don't worry about drueling cuz no matter what you're gonna do it. He said the one thing is make sure you don't pull your tongue back in your mouth.

So he marked my tongue where the piercing was gonna go, and when he looked under it to mark it, he said something that scared the hell out of me! He said, "Wow, look at that huge vein goin down the middle." That made me so scared, I asked him if he could still do it, and he said yea, he just has to be carefull about the vein. So yea, he told me to take a deep breathe and that he was gonna count to three. he said breathe in and breathe out, breathe in ... one... two... three..... done. But the funny thing was that he pierced me right after one. I could feel it go through, but it didnt hurt at all. luckily someone was there squeezing my hand. So he put the bar through, and that felt so weird. Nothing I ever felt before. Then he got the balls to screw on, but as he was screwing them on, i started drueling and he dropped one of the balls. So he had to get some more. Luckily they were right next to him, individually sealed and sterile. The thing that hurt the most which to me di dnt really hurt, was the forceps. They clamp down pretty hard. But yea! It awesome that I got it done!!!!

I couldn't believe how much I was building it up and it wasn't even that bad. Now I just have to get used to the whole thing in the middle of my mouth getting in the way of everything! But, if you ask me I would go to Leopard Lounge in Huntington Beach. They are awesome and very good.

After I was done, which only took like 10 minutes, my friend miguel went and got his nipple pierced! OUCH. It looked like it hurt a lot, especially those clamps around his nipple. I was so surprised that he had like no emotion in his face. He said that the actual piercing didn't hurt, it just felt like a really long titty-twist! And I've felt that, it hurts. Good thing I didn't do that. I will never do that. It looks pretty cool though. And very stimulating. It was weird having so many people in the room watching the procedure take place. It makes you more nervous. But it was cool and I wouldn't change a thing.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to email me and I should be able to get back to you within 24 hours.

I RECOMMEND A TONGUE PERCING TO EVERYONE WHO ISNT SQUIMISH! HAPPY PIERCING!!!
