I planned on getting this done for a while, but wasn't to sure if I wanted it done or not until I found out that it is AWESOME. So, this is how it started.

So a Wednesday afternoon after I got out of school we hopped on the QEW and were on our way to Clifton Hill. (about a 45 minute drive from West Seneca) We arrived at the place, it was called Heads. so to get to the point, I met the piercer, his name was Ken. I told him I wanted my tongue pierced so he got everything ready in about 5 minutes, I rinsed with listerine, he put the clamp on, then I saw the needle and soon enough, it was over. I thought the whole procedure was painless and that the worse part was the clamp itself. up to date I've been to heads a few times to get both tragus' pierced and 2 tattoo's, there very clean so if you are underage and impatient I recommend going there.
Now for the snakebite. I had my first piercing for about 7 months and I was very happy with it, I bet the other people were too. But, as more and more people started to get their tongue pierced that i knew it kinda made me angry. its cool b/c its something different but then if you knew me you'd know how I always like to be different so that's when i got the idea for my snakebite. Plus, if they have one and I have 3, how many people do you know that are going to get three more just so they can say that they beat me? Anyway, I'm happy with it and don't care anymore what people do because I've succeeded in being different enough as it is.
I called my friend up and said lets go to express yourself and get my venom done, I don't feel like going all the way to Canada to do it. So we getty'd on up over to express yourself and I told them what I wanted done, no problems about it. Jack, the piercer, got everything ready, had me rinse again, and then told me to take a seat. he drew the 2 dots on my tongue, i checked them out to see if i liked it, of course that's important and it was perfect. So I sat down again and he got the clamp and needle, he pierced from the bottom up, when I had my first one done they went from the top to the bottom. There was no difference in pain or anything but, then when he put the 14g barbell through that I believe was 1/2 inch in length since the sides or your tongue are smaller that's what it called for, it hurt a little bit, no lie. I don't know why it did, but oh well. I wanted it done so I had to deal with it.
So the first one went good, hell yeah! now he got the same materials for the second piercing, once again from the bottom up, no pain, but then he put another 14g barbell in and yeah......it stung a little, but once he had the ball on and they were both through, I felt great! Tongue wasn't swollen at all until the next day, but that's normal so I expected it. The over all cost for the 2 was $65.
As to date, the piercing is doing good, I took out my middle one so I could get these 2 done and let them heal, now the swollen is gone so I'm going to re-pierce the center. what I was told to do for aftercare was to rinse with listerine, the original flavor or the yellow color, same thing. I did have problems eating for a few days because when you get the center pierced you can chew on the sides, since I got the sides pierce, ummmm you can figure it out, it was tough I'll tell ya that.
So just eat soft foods. The best food would be like mash potatoes, applesauce, Jell-O, stuff like that. But I found out that if you can actually eat solid food and it don't hurt then why the hell not eat it and just make sure you rinse, right?
Do I recommend getting it? hell yeah, if one pleases most why not double it or in some cases....go ahead and triple it, no ones holding ya back. If anyone has questions, ya know just hit me up, as for now, keep rocking the piercings and stay original. Lata everyone
