This is my second time getting my tongue web pierced. The first web piercing I had only lasted 2 days and got ripped really bad while eating a candy. (It was done with a cbr and the ring got caught around my tooth)About a month later when I was all healed I thought I would make a second attempt. I was fairly new to this city so I though I would make a few phone calls to the local piercing shops asking what the price was for a web piercing. The first few places I called didn't even know what I was talking about when I told them I wanted a tongue web piercing which basicaly told me to stay away from them. I finally called a little shop called Tribosei and they knew exactly what I was talking about. I told them I would be there in 20 minutes. It was a pretty hot day so the walk there wasn't very fun at all. I told my family I was off to get pierced again. None of them seemed overly surprised. when I finally got there I was very surprised about how small the shop was. It was ex tremely clean and professional though. I sat in a chair for a few minutes and waited patiently while the piercer was finishing his previous customers. I met my piercer and his assistant soon after, both of them were very nice people. We talked for a few minutes and discussed various piercings and procedures. It helped quite a bit to make me feel comfortable and relaxed.

We walked into a small room and I layed on the doctors bed waiting to be pierced. I told Taylor that I wanted my web pierced fairly deep and with a curved barbell so it wouldn't rip as easily. He then got out a tooth pick and some ink and made his markings. I was happy that he didn't use a pen that would be used on other people. He told me to look in the mirror and asked if I was going to be happy with the placement. I told him it looked perfect. Next I layed on the bed again. He got some paper towel and dried off my tongue so he could hold it while he pierced my web. I breathed in and out 3 times deeply. On my 3rd exhale he did the actual piercing. Not really any pain at all, Just a tiny bit of a pinch. He asked if I was ok and told him I was fine. Although I couldn't talk while he was doing the procedure I nodded my head to let him know. The next step was putting in the barbell. I heard it could be very hard to put in and tighten the barbell in a tongue web but my pier cer did just fine. After about 5 minutes I was completely finished. My tongue did get a little sore having to hold it out though. I looked in the mirror at the finished product and was totally happy with it. We talked for about another 10 minutes and I told him I wanted to get my madison done in the future. He told me no problem, All he had to do was order the jewelery. I found him to be very knowledgeable and polite. when we were finished talking I payed him for the piercing and gave him a $15 tip. It may seem like a lot but I was that happy with his work. and besides I knew I would be back there anyways.

Now it was time to take the long walk home. I couldn't wait to get back and show everyone my newest piercing. My mom thought it was totally cool. No one else said to much about it, I guess they are just used to me getting piercings. As far as aftercare goes all I did was rinse my mouth out with sea salt a few times a day for the first week and rinse with distilled water after I ate anything, Which was kind of funny because I had to take a water bottle with me everywhere I went. I haven't had any problem yet with my piercing. I much prefer a barbell to a cbr for a web piercing. It took only a few days of getting used to and I didn't have any trouble talking at all with it. I don't even notice it anymore. I still find it fun to surprise people by showing them. All in all my experience at Tribosei was very good . I'm definitely going back there in the future to get pierced. I would recommend to anyone that wants to get an oral piercing to get there web done. It is a tie with my nape was my favorite piercing.
