Well this is sort of a long story so I'll cut it short. I've always been a bit of a piercing freak, wanting every piercing I seen, but it wasn't until I saw the Venoms on this site that I fell in love and knew I had to have them. After about 8 months of thinking about getting them done and 7 piercings in between (2x eyebrow, clit, 2x bellybutton, 2x nipple) I finally rang Bryan, a piercer I knew from previous piercing and asked some questions, asked him if I could get the piercings done both in one session, he told me yes, cause I have had a few piercings done at the one session.

I went in feeling nervous as I always do before a piercing. Bryan was busy stabbing other people with needles when I got there so I chatted to the guy behind the counter, Jordan. He asked me what placement I wanted, double center, but I told him side by side, and he thought that was pretty mad, he hadn't seen it don't on a gurl, so he was looking forward to seeing it too. Then when Bryan was done he told me to come out back so he could gladly stab me a few times. He has this way of making you feel real safe haha.
When we got in the room he made me sit down and have a talk to calm my nerves. Did the usual, asked where I wanted them to sit, looked for veins and marked as close to the places I wanted. Me being the sook I am, I take my mum with me for all my piercings, she gets a kick out of watching. Bryan clamped the right side of my tongue and told me to take 3 deep breaths on the 3 one, boom! done just like that, oh and not to mention my mums broken hand lol. It did hurt and I knew something wasn't right when my mums face went white and Bryan yelled for Jordan, a nice warm liquid flowed out of my mouth like a damn waterfall, I thought it was cool. Mum went to get some ice. Bryan asked the obvious questions, is your mum ok? has she seen a piercing done? I simply replied with, dude my mums a nurse, she has seen hella worse. Anyway, Bryan just said it bled because it was the first one and its like when you bite your tongue it bleeds heaps, so I didn't think much of it, just kept lookin g in the mirrors to see how it looked. I didn't drool on me which was good, but I don't think Bryan liked being drool on hehe.
We chatted for about 10 minutes while I drank lots of cold water to stop the bleeding. And then he just freaks me out again, "ok Brooke I'm ready to go again". Not what I wanted to do, I was ready to walk out there and then, but he wouldn't let me leave, he would never have let me live it down come to think of it.
Well he clamped this one, I grabbed my mums hand, bam! done this one killed like nothing else, my tongue had swollen and it was tender. No blood which was good, but I seriously broke my mums finger. Hey it could have been her whole hand.
I went out and showed my friend bernie who had come to watch but fainted when we walked into the shop. not the strong type. Anyway I played the $100 for both piercings and tipped Bryan an extra $50. (always tip your piercer!) And brought 2 new smaller bars to put in when they were ready.
And showed everyone in the shop how brave I was, some chicks gave me weird looks, but I was happy.
I changed my bars to the smaller ones 12 days later, I was eating normally after 9 days, but once the small ones went in, everything was much easier to do. talking rocked, I could actually do that. And I was singing in my band in no time. (well about 2 weeks later).
For anyone considering getting them, go for it, they do hurt I won't say they don't, but they are worth it, they hurt a lot afterwards, hard to eat, drink lots of ice cold water and suck ice, they really help. But if you live in Australia and know where Shepperton is, I suggest you visit Hysteria for your piercings, they are a great shop and have excellent staff.
