I thought for a while that my web was too small but my friend who's a tattoo artist reassure me it was fine..After a lot of research on bme ,some of my questions we're still unanswered but I decided to go for it anyway.So after Christmas(and a lot of trying to convince my boyfriend) I knew I would have to money to do it. so I called all my favourite piercing places last week to ask for prices. one place wouldn't do it, one wasn't sure. and 2 of them did. I decided to go see Ben since, he's the guy who did my nipples and he was really nice so I thought I should go see him for this...At 12 I met my boyfriend and we head up to the piercing place,which is about an hour away from my house. My boyfriend kept telling me that my parents would find out but I was confident. it took 2 months for my dad to realize I had stretch my lobes to 4 gauge..!
So we got there and Ben was there, I told him I wanted to get my tongue web pierced...he was like ''I hate doing tongue web when I didn't have my coffee!'' I told him I was sorry. since the shop had just open, it was almost empty. so he told me he would do me with a cbr..(and I don't regret it. I'll talk about this at the end..)
I paid(cost in Canadian money:40$ +tax) then he told me to followed him in the back of the shop. He made me rinse my mouth with Listerine then sit in his chair..
While he was preparing his stuff he asked me how my nipples where doing. I told him they were doing great. So he told me everything he would do,clamp,pierce,put the needle.
I sat back, put my tongue up and it started..I thought it would hurt a lot and take at least half an hour and a lot of drooling. But that was far from the truth.I sat there and I only felt a little prick under my tongue and it was all over.I was like that was fast. no drooling, no pain, no swelling. It took about 2 minutes and it was over..and unlike after my nipple I didn't get dizzy or anything..
Right after ,I had a sip of ice cold water,2 Motrin to make sure it wouldn't swell too much and I thank Ben and headed out..I had no trouble eating since...I actually ate a chicken sub right after...So now this was my story. But since I have time, I'll answer most question I wish I had found answers to before I went to see Ben...
Does it hurt?
-No, not at all. Pinch your web with your nails. Now that hurt, doesn't it? Its far less pain than that...
Should I get pierced with a car or a bb?
-Well I now have a small cbr. It very comfortable and I barely feel it. I only feel the ball on my gums if I move my tongue and it doesn't move too much. I would suggest a cbr.
Is it noticeable?
-Well I'd say like Ben,"do you actually look under people tongue when they talk?" Well no. So that's your answer. Unless you show, no one will know!
Is it expensive?
-I don't know for the states, but shop I know that would do it told me 55$ Canadian on the phone(with a cbr) but when I got there, it ended up being 40$ candian. Good deal. cheaper that tongue.
Why tongue web?
-Well there is many advantages...Almost no swelling, you don't lisp like an idiot for 3-4 days, it doesn't hurt and it's very discreet.
that's why ..Plus you have the same fun with it. You can still play with the little cbr under your tongue like you would play like a big bb in your tongue..
