I have been waiting 2 long years for me to get my tongue done. I have asked my mom a million times and the same answer came out, NO! She thinks its nasty and its not a lady like thing to do. well my birthday is coming up( im gonna be 17 ) so i told her she doesent have to get me anything for my birthday expect the tongue ring. She thought about it for a long time and finally she said YES !!! i was so happy. My friend nikki had to ask her mom if she could do it and her mom was telling her all the things that could go wrong and how its gross and on and on.

I found one that was female owned and very clean. It was about 20 mins away from my house, so we left and headed down to get it over with.
as soon as we got there i was getting very nervous because i dont have any other piercings expect my ears ( which are done 8 times ). we walked in and noone was there it was empty. a lady walked up to the counter and asked what we needed. We told her our tonges and so she bought out so papers and pens. My mom was very nervous so i didnt want her to come in and watch me. So as she was checking out IDs and papers, me and nikki picked out some balls which were very cute. my was red and pink and my friends was red and white. I asked if i could watch my friend do it first and she said i could. Nikki was very nervous. As we walked back to the room i was getting very light headed and dizzy. But i stayed strong. My friend sat in the chair and we watched her get all the tools out of the bags and made sure everything was clean. I watched nikki get it done as i held her hand, she said it didnt hurt at all, so she laid down on the couch as i got into the chair. I was thinking how it was gonna feel and if i was gonna pass out. As she got new tools out i asked a whole bunch of questions about the healing and the differnt barbells. she was very nice and answed all my questions with great answers. She put the clamps on as i kept drooling everywhere. Then came out the needle as she told me to breathe in and out i closed my eyes then as soon as i opened my eyes she was putting the ball on.
I didnt even feel a thing !!! i thought it was gonna hurt so bad. So i looked in the mirror and thanked her , paid the 50 bucks and left. We went to Wendi's and had some chicken nuggets and fries. damn its so hard to eat with a huge barbell in your mouth. but it took me a good 20mins of biting my barbells to eat everything. We went to Longs Drugs to get some Toms Of Maine mouth wash then went home. I kept looking at my new ring, i was sooooo happy.
The next day was hell !!! and i had to go to school. I couldnt eat,talk nothing. everyone was making fun of me and telling me that it will get better. I have been eating alright too, i had pizza 2 days ago and soup,nachos everything only that is a pain in the ass is that the food gets suck under my tongue and that i have to wash my mouth everytime i smoke a cig. I cant wait untill i change the barbell because this one is a pain in the ass and it hurts the botton of my mouth. My boyfriend also loves it but i cant kiss him for about 4 more weeks. but maybe ill shorted the weeks but 2. lol. Sometimes it pusses and i was getting woried so i called the studio and asked what was going on and Kelly told me that it was dead cells and that it was fine. I was happy nothing was going on. My friend nikkis is doing well too, she also loves it but she has already used 2 bottles of mouth wash. Im still on my first. I went to the hot box today to get some balls and i got some pink diamonds and one that says i love boys, and a clear barbell. its really spendy for some of the barbells.Im still kinnda speaking funny but its all good.
