Holy Shit I got my tongue pierced this summer, after much debating, and the tat artist who usually does me tats did it for me, and he shook like a god damned leaf. He said his first piercing ever was his tongue and it was horribly painful and done incorrectly, so it made him nervous when he pierced other people. He is telling me this as he is shaking, sweating, and trying to get me pierced. At least he did it right. As for my friend who was next up, her ass got fucked! Her tongue was off centered and she ended up taking the bar out completely after a month or so.,.. and now she has a huge bump on the bottom, a sac of some sort, that is a deposit that will never go away. Even her dentist cant remove it. And to think that could've been me!

Anyway, my piercing turned out hunky dorey, and I had swelling for almost two weeks which was pretty painful. I drank lots of Slim Fast. The actual piercing itself did not hurt a bit, I didnt even feel anything. But about two hours after I got it... FUCK! I could barely say anything at all, and I couldnt eat my yummy milkshake. WHen I went to visit a friend in Cape Cod, he wanted to take me out to dinner. He and I ended up heating up some baby food in the microwave and I struggled to eat even that! I was craving food I hated, such as steak and asparagus. I would have eaten anything if only I had been able to. However, I couldnt choke anything that wasnt in liquid form, so I cried like a little baby and waited for the day to come where I could chow down a yummy plate of mashed potatoes, porkchops, and carrots!

If oyu want to get yor tongue pierced, I suggest doing it. Even if your swelling is as long as mine was, it is worth the wait, my friend. Eventually you can upgauge, and guys absolutely love them for oral and playing with while kissing. Big balls are good. I love my tongue ring because I have the power to take it out if I grow tired of it. I have a tatoo on my right shoulder that I got when I was 14 and now regret having it. I do not have the funds ot get it covered or removed, so I have to live with it. I was a young fool who dared to get a grateful dead bear tattooed on her fuckin body! How dare me! Now, seven years later, I look at it in the mirror and laugh. Stupid woman! ANyone want to contribut eot my fund? Send me some money so I can go to the best tattoo artist in the country and get this fucker covered in S T Y L E!!!!!!!!!!!

Trust me, i would do it up right. Some people are walking around with gorgeous tats on them that I designed, and so am I. I would cover up this horrible blunder with something that is deserving of being on my body. Treat your body as if it were a temple, ladies and gents! Dont fuck it up as I did! Anyway, back to the tongue. If you havent done it, do it. Its oh so fun. Watch someone else get theirs done, many people are quite willing to allow you to stand there with your eyes bulging out of your face as they get a huge needle shoved through their love muscle.

The friendly piercer nearest you should also be very very clean and experienced. Dont let your drunk friend who has "done it a few times before" come over to you and give you a hole. Thats not my idea of fun!

Anyway, the only other downside to this thing is that I chomp down on it often. Wanna break a tooth? Use metal. Get plastic balls to avoid chipping or breaking your pearly whites. Also, my friend Nik had a completely plastic tongue ring (balls and rod) and once when he chomped down, the rod broke right in the middle. Get a metal rod with PLASTIC balls and you should be all good.

Any other things I should mention? Oh yes... I have seen some nice shit with spikes and whatnot, which look good, but they cause the roof of your mouth to become very unhappy. Not a good experince when you have a spot as tough as leather on the roof of your mouth that turns into a puss wound! FUCK THAT!

Life in general, I believe, is to have the most fun you possibly can without endangering others. Piercings help you to have some good ol' fashioned fun... heehee. So get up your courage, grow some balls, whatever it is you have to do, and get out there and pierce something today! Whaddya say? Have a nice day!
