First let me say I think this was one of the stupidest things I have ever done....

Ok now to tell you my story...

I have been wanting another piercing since I got my last one (which was 11 months ago). I am under aged and my parents wont spring for another hole, it was hard getting them to let me get my industrial and it is widely known I am not aloud to get another till Im 18 and living on my own. So I was thinking about different things I could do on my own. First I thought about piercing my lip, but then I thought that was just a bit to obvious. So after looking around a bit I saw the tongue web. I used to think they were so gross looking but now they were quite intreging. So on an impulse I went to this new tattoo shop about 3 minutes from my house. I was looking for some kind of ring that would be easy to get in under my tongue and that wasnt to large. I was looking in the display case they had and saw a bunch of small rings, so I asked how much, the lady said $15. Damn and I only had $7. Then the woman that owned the place said that these three were only $5 because they were slightly bent. You really couldnt tell they were bent though so I took the smallest one with a a green bead.

I had to go pick up my sister from school and I kinda did a little over the speed limit (oops) because I wanted to get home and pierce my web. So I get home and run to my room to find this small tin box that has all my streil needles in it (my dad had them, dont ask me why). I finally find it and lock my self in the bathroom. The day before I bought a bottle of Listerine for just these types of occasions, so I gargled for thirty seconds (gawddamn that stuff burns). I pull out one of the needles and its way to large. On to the next one. That one was looked the right size but turned out to be to small.

So I get the right sized needle out and pulled the ring out of its little bag. I stuck my tongue out and pressed the needle against the web of my tongue. Watching all this was wierd because it didnt feel like I was doing it to my self. I finally realize I need to push the needle all the way through. I push a little hard and POP it was through. Then came the . It pored out like it there was no tomorrow. By now Im tyring to clean the away enough to see the holes. No such luck. More y drool filled tissues later I could see the holes. Trying to get the ring in was impossible...the holes were too small.

Now was the painful part. Since these holes were too small I go for the bigger needle (eeeeeaaahhkk I needles). I try pushing the needle through the entrence hole and it goes in fine. Getting out the exit hole wasnt as easy, I chickened out and couldnt push it through. So here I am with one hole the right size and one thats not goin anywhere. I try getting the ring through the small hole to maybe stretch it. No such luck. So I keep trying the bigger hole...la la la try try try. And then the most beautiful feeling...smooth sliding...WOOHOOO YYAAAAYYY!!!! Can you tell Im happy?

Ok so now the bead...haha ya right that really isnt happening. I try and try and try and try, getting a tiny bead to snap into a ring under your tongue is the sigle most dificult thing to do by your self. I cant really ask for help since this whole thing is pretty much illegal in our house so I go out to my dads work bench and got his needle nose pliers (yucky rusty things). Still no luck. I try some more and say it. So I end up just bending the ring closed. Gawd Im stupid =P . My tongue is now brused to no end (ouuuuuuch).

My poor little web is brused but wow is it fun to play with! I really reccomend getting it done, but go to a professional, its worth it. I plan on going to my regular pierce and getting him to change my deformed ring thing to somethiing more comfy.

I rinse with two parts water and one part Listerine EVERYTIME I stick ANYTHING other than water into my mouth. It hurts but Im hoping for not to much longer. If you have quesztions just email me =)
