Me and my tongue!

Ok.When I turned 14 I decide that I wanted to get my tongue pierced. So I asked my mom,and of course she said no.So I was sad about it. So I moved on and just got my ears pierced again. So time went on. I saw more and more people get theres done. So I turned 15 and I asked her again,and she said no again. So I figuered ok I am never gettin my tongue pierced as long as I am under 18.

So my 16th birthday was coming up soon. So I was really interested in tongue piercings. I would come to BME and read everyones stories. My mom finally relized that I really wanted it done.So I asked her again. She said that she would think about it.

So it was a week before my birthday.And I was talkin to my real dad and he asked me if there was anything special that I wanted for my birthday. And I told him that he wouldn't like it and that I wasn't going to tell him. So I gave in and finaly told him what I wanted to do. And he didn't want me to. He kept telling me to wait a month and think about it. I told him no and that I was going to do it before school started.

He still didn't like the idea of it. But he agreed and told me that he would pay for half of it.So I was happy. So my mom told me to then ask my step dad if I could.So I said ok.So right then and there I asked him.He said I don't care it is your tongue not mine. But you have to pay for it. So that didn't bother me.

So I decided that I was going to get it done Monday the 14th. That way I would be able to eat at my birthday party. And I would also have money to do it.So the week seemed to take forever. I was so excited for what was ahead of me. I was ready for it all. So saterday comes,the day of my party.We party all night and I am happy that it was almost Monday. So sunday afternoon my mom got really sick.

I was so upset about my mom getting sick.She was in the hospital for a week. So she got out that friday. So we were just sitting around the house saterday.I asked my mom if she thought I could get my tongue pierced before school started.She said maybe. So later that day out of the blue my mom asks me how much money I have saved up. I was like 55 dollars why. And she couldn't drive at the time.So she tells me to call up my best friend Kevin and ask him if he would drive me to get my tongue pierced.

So I was like really really happy.So we wait for him to get there.He does and we go pick up my other friend and go on are way to get it done. I was so scared. I was so scared the whole way up there.So we get there and I was ready for them to do it.So they ask me if I have a picture ID. And I didn't so they told me I had to come back when I got one.So I was pissed.And we all looked at some tattos.Then we left.

So monday comes.We all go to get my ID.I get it and we go to a differnt place this time.My mom said the other people looked to young,and she didn't trust them. So we go there,and me and my mom fill out the papers that were needed to be filled out. I was so scared. So he had me go to the back and I had Kevin and Gina go back there with me.And I was shakin I was so scared.

The guy had me go back there.Rinse my mouth out with listeren. It was really gross to. So he had me go sit on this bench thing. As I sat there I looked at my friends like OH MY GOD!!!I am here I am going to do it.There is no turning back now. So I am sittin there waitin and watching him get everything ready. It kinda made me mad that he didn't ask me where I wanted it.

So he told me to stick out my tongue.I was a little hesitant at first.

So when I did he wiped my tongue off with a paper towel. He got the clamp and put them on my tongue. He looked under my tongue and made sure everything was ok. I put my hands around my face.I wasn't touchin it but they were where he couldn't do it.He asked me if I was ready. I didn't answer him. I just closed my eyes and let him do it. I only felt it go in the top of my tongue and that was it. But I felt him put the barbell through.

So when he was done he told me how to take care of it and all the aftercare.And he was real nice about everything.He got me water and everything.I always get light headed after I get something pierced.So after a couple minutes. We went out.But when I was in the back room I was talkin to Kevin and Gina.They were like That was the coolest thing I have ever seen in my life.But soon as I went out I stuck my tongue out at my mom.

All in all it was all worth the money.In another week I can do everything again. The swelling wasn't that bad.Just take asprin every four hours.And I thought that I would have had alot more swelling because I didn't suck on ice. I don't like ice.
