Hello again. This is my second story and my, uhh..hmm. Lets see, this is my 6th piercing. I now own 7. 1 right nostril (18g), 1 standard navel (14g), 4 lobe (all 14g), and 1 left helix, which is what this storys about! Many others coming! 4 more lobes, all 18, stretch my first holes to 8g, 2 more helix on my left ear(1 standard placment, the other at the very top of my ear), 2 lograrth on my right ear (please notice that these cartilage piercings form a star, lol), 1 rook on my right ear, 2 forehead surface piercings (to give me horns!), 1 anti-brow under my left eye, 1 centre tongue, 1 side vertical labret (left), 1 vampire bite on the right side of my neck, 2 vertical nipples, an 18 surface bar corset, 1 christina, 2 labia, 1 triangle, 1 tail bone surface, and maaaybe hip surfaces. Yep! Its a lot (for 'normal' people)...but I am admitedly addicted to bod mods. I am getting my first tattoo in 1 year. A collection of stars designed by each of my close, close friends. Awww..hehe.

Lets get a bit more on topic now. Your about to read about my standard 18g left helix. I got this about 1 and a half months ago. Its still healing, but its coming along. Its given me a few problems, 2 infections, a bump (still there, slowly fading). Not much to fuss over...especially since my body doesn't care much for piercings.

I went to my usual place, Almoda in the Meadow Glen Mall. Now as I say in the other story (about my nose ring!), that, usually, you shouldn't trust a mall piercer, but he's cool. He's professional and clean and all that happy crap. Haha. And as usual, when I walk in, I pace around looking at their jewelry selection before I grow enough balls to admit to the young (very pierced!) girl behind the counter, that I want a new piercing. When I finally speak up and tell her my most recent dream is to have an everyday-old, normal helix. She tells me Eli is out and will be right back. That kind of freaked me out. I don't realy know why though...but suddenly Eli comes walking out of the back room, like, 30 seconds later. I counldn't help but to giggle (once again, I don't know why...maybe nerves). And he sees me, and smiles. He swiftly walks over and just says "So how's the little Princess doing?" We all laughed of coarse, since I'm so wonderfully as far from 'princess' as possible. Hahaha. Well I speak up again, telling him "1 helix, left ear...please..." He waves me back into the back room, while mother dearest (note my sarcasm) fills out standard 'minor' paperwork.

The procedure was nice and quick. Set up of all his equipment took about 1 minute, then he prepared my ear nice and fast with disinfectant. (This is kinda funny, but when I first walk in I'm always nervous, even for something small! But as soon as I plop my butt onto the piercing table, I calm right down! I find it interesting...But, back to my story...) He then dotted me...I asked for it to be a little lower, he re-dots. Perfect! He asks he to lay back onto the icky, green, medical table. He holds the needle to my ear and tells me to breathe. He has a nice calming voice..maybe its his accent...hmm(?). Then on breath number 3, he says exhale Hard! I puff out nice and fast, And the needle slid through quick, and utterly Painless!! I barly felt anything! The cbr went threw just the same...quick, painless. Perfection! I hoped off ASAP and ran out complaining to my mom that it was wonderfully dull in that piercing room! She was startled by how good it looked and immediatly jumped onto that icky table going "I want that!!" But she runs out at me when she's all done, bitching and moaning that I lied, and that it hurt like Hell! I laughed and explained cartilage ages too...it hardens with age. She puffed to show her discontent. Oh well, mom!

We walked out happy as pigs in shit. Lol. And I've had little trouble with it. After pain was worse than the actual piercng, and I could sleep on it by the end of the week (without pain). Its kind of sore now though...it got kicked and punched a lot latly (thank you Taste Of Chaos Concerts! Ha!)

All in all, the helix MUST be the secong easiest piercing to handle, right after lobes. Its cute as can be, and just another step up in my ear project! I can't wait to finish...well thanks again Eli. One more piercing I will more than love for a long time to come.
