For the week before today, I had been wondering about which piercing I should get next, as me and my friend had made arrangements to get a piercing together. We were both going to get one on the ear, and we wanted to go together for...emotional support.

We walked to the studio, where it was closed; we had gotten there too early. So we waited around, and went inside to get in from the cold. We went back, and it was still closed, so we decided to walk around the mall to do other shopping while we were waiting. So yea, time goes by and we go back to the studio. My friend Babz, whom we wanted to pierce us, was in so we went inside and filled out the forms and paid and such.
Once she had got those things done, she went and got the piercing studio ready. There were three of us there, though only two of us were getting pierced at the time. Once she got it cleaned, we went in and i got my friend to go first, so i can watch it get done. It's a different feeling to get a piercing after watching someone else get the same one.
So yea, once she went through my friend, I was kind of freaking out...and considering I have gotten other piercings before it was a bit weird. But anyway, I got up onto the bed and wiggled my feet, not liking the height of the bed. My Friend and I made a joke about her needing a ladder for some shorter people needing to get on the bed. It helped calm me down a little bit.
She got fresh new equipment out for me, and measured up my ear for the right size barbell. I didn't catch the size, though I think I should've, but yea, I didn't think of listening. Marking the sides of my ear, she got me to check them out, though I trusted her judgment so I said that if she thinks it looked good, then she can go ahead and just pierce it. While she fixed up the equipment, my cousin, my friend and I started talking about our next piercings, and I didn't know what I wanted next. I asked Babz, and she mentioned that another lip piercing would suit me (I'll be sure to post a story when I get it done hehe).
She got me to lie on the bed, facing the wall. By this time, my voice started cracking because I was getting nervous, I mean, after all, she was gonna give me two holes in my ear. Lying there, I tapped my foot along to a random song in my head, as she pulled my ear away getting ready to pierce it. She told me to breathe in, and I felt her shove the needle through the top-most part of my ear and new piercing. When she was pushing it in, I felt the force she had to use as my ear was tougher than she probably expected. Once she got it through though it was like, relax time, one down, one to go. Lining up the needle with the other part, she got me to breathe in again, and I felt it go through a lot easier than the first one. Sighing as it got through, I started laughing at how it wasn't as bad as I thought.
Wiggling my foot over the end of the bed, I heard her get the jewelry from the table and unscrew the ball. She then got me to breathe in again as she pushed the piercing through the hole. Felt weird, but it was a good pain, I liked it. She screwed the ball on the other side and cleaned up my ear. It felt weird, but I quickly got use to it being there. After it was all done, I got up, and freaked out because I got up too fast, and I was like, whoa. But I settled back down and jumped down. Babz walked us through the aftercare and stuff, gave us some aftercare spray/liquid for it. She didn't need to as we both knew what we had to do to take care of it, but it was her job. So that was the experience. Afterwards, it continued to ache afterwards, but it dulled back down to a small dull throbbing and as I cleaned it, it stung a little bit, but that seems like a normal thing, so I'm just gonna keep a close watch on it 'till it stops aching. Now, at 8pm during the night, its still under 12 years old, but it's another wonderful addition to my ever growing piercing collection. Next up...I think a lip stud in the middle of my snakebites would be nice.
