Ok, so I absolutely love piercings. I have 17 total at the moment: 8 lobes, 2 standard cartilage's, an inner helix, 2 tragii, a 3 point spiral and a newly acquired rook. I also used to have an eyebrow piercing but that died. I already have all of my piercings planned out and plan to have a total of 24. I also would LOVE to be a piercer but I don't think that will ever happen.

Ok to start my story my piercing addiction started 2 years ago when I pierced my 3rd wholes my self with a sewing needle (which was SO stupid because they still hurt after 2 years). Since then I have gotten 10 piercings. I really think there needs to be a piercing anonymous club.

I don't know why I put myself through so much pain but after a certain amount of time I forgot how much piercings hurt so I decide I need another one. Normally I wait 6 months between piercings now since I had a bad experience with my inner helix. It's only been 5 months since my last piercing but my rook is on my other ear which hasn't had a piercing for a year and a half I decided it would be ok.

At first i planned on getting my rook and another piercing (it's hard to explain) so by the time I was done it would look like I had a rook and another rook in a triangle shape. The second rook would really be 2 piercings since I was told my ear was not big enough for two.

I walked in to Tribal Rites (the place I ALWAYS go no matter what) and talked to the piercer. He looked at my ear and said I could fit a double rook but it'd be better to get one rook and then wait a few months and get the other one. I agreed since piercers know best (it is true whether you want to believe it or not.)

My piercers name was Keegan and it was incredibly nice. He explained that his receiving tube wouldn't fit right to do the 2nd one right then. He kept cramming the receiving tube in the little crevice of my ear and that hurt a lot but finally he got the placement right and was ready. He told me to breath in but before he said breath out he said he had to fix something really quick. I was shaking before I even got in the shop but by this time I was shaking really bad. He put the needle back up to my ear and told me to breath in and out. We all know the drill. He pushed the needle through and I practically had a seizure (I squeeze my hands really badly and it makes me shake.) This was by far my WORST piercing. I thought the spiral was as bad as it got because I got 3 in a row but this was worse. When the needle was all the way through (I was relieved Keegan got it over with quick) he looked at me and asked me if I was ok and said I gave him a heart attack because I started shaking. I told him I was fine and to continue you. He put the ring through and secured it. He cleaned it up and my friend said afterwards there was a lot of blood to clean up. I have never had a piercing bleed before but it is now 3 hours after the piercing and it is still gushing blood.

Keegan told me I had to stay sitting for a few minutes since I scared him and he told me the cleaning instructions (which I had heard many times before but he had to make sure.) He let me get up and look at it and honestly I wasn't too impressed. Right now I think the ring is too big but I'm sure I will get it switched when I go back for the second one.

I'm pretty sure this wont reject because Keegan pierced it really deep. He said that he was sure it wouldn't either but I am a little worried because all of my cartilage piercings so far (except one) have gotten little bubbles on them but I plan to baby this thing like crazy.

In a few months when this one feels better I will defiantly have a story about it to so be sure to look for it!

Ok so it's a couple days after I go the piercing now and it is doing fine. It bled for 3 hours the first day and for a little while the second but now there is no blood. It doesn't hurt anymore either unless I bonk it. And I did what a lot of people do: my mom called me and I smacked my phone against my ear. It's a good thing people RARELY call me. So all in all this is a pretty cool piercing. I also don't have a problem with the big ring anymore. It looks pretty good but I still think I'm going to switch to a smaller one eventually. If you want this piercing go for it but it hurts A LOT but only for the first few hours then you completely forget about the pain.
