ok. at the time I was 15 when I decided that I wanted a new piercing. I asked my mom about getting a piercing and she absolutly refused. She says they look nasty and I wouldnt be able to get a job with a bunch of piercings. I was pretty bumbed out about this so I started looking for a piercing that looked good and that my mom might approve of.
At A Glance Author Erin Contact Erin@bme.anon When Six months ago Artist dont remember Studio hollywood ink Location Columbia I came across a picture of someone that had an industrial done and I instantly knew that, thats the one I wanted. So I ran it by my mom and she was still pretty ify. so about five months went by and she still hasnt told me anything, she didnt even gove me a yes or no.
One day when I was in Columbia for a doctors appointment...(I am a Diabetic) I decided to ask my doctor about the risks of me getting a piercing. He said that its more of a personal choice so long as I kept it clean, and that I sjhould probably take an antibiotic.
So after me and my mom left the university I told her that I had the money to get an industrial done. She asked if this is really something I wanted to do and I said of course.
When we stopped to get lunch I had found a phone book and looked up a place that could do the piercing. When I called the guy who answered the phone said that the piercer doesnt usually pierce anyone unless they are atleast 16 years of age...I was really bumbed yet again. but then he said that I should come in anyways and have the piercer take a look at my ear to see if he was even able to do it and that my ears were done growing. So me and my mom sat there and talked about what I would do if I wasnt able to get the piercing and she tryed talking me out of getting it done. I told her that no matter what she said that I was going to get this piercing and that no one could talk me out of it. So when we were done with lunch we set off to find this place. We got lost, of course, so we had to call back and get directions yet again. And 15 minutes later we found the place.
When we got there we had to wait cause they were out for lunch. But when They got back he decided that he would go ahead and do the piercing for me since we had to wait on them.
He marked two different spots on my ear and asked if it looked ok. I said yes and then he had me sit down in a chair. The first needle went through and it was nothing. then when it came to the second needle...it went through good but it bled....and It bled a lot.
But when it quit bleeding so much he cleaned it up after the jewlwery was put in and he went over how I shouldnt use alcohol and that I should use bactine. Then we left.
And that was it....Except here recently I went back and asked about these huge bumps that were around the actual pierced locations. He said that I should use tea - tree oil but dilute it in purified water and that they should go away in about a week but it doesnt always work out and luckly in my case they went away in about a week or two.
I would recomend this piercing to anyone who wants a totaly awsome piercing. The pain is worth it. I have a high tolorance for pain so to me this whole experience wasnt that bad at all. I love the feeling of having a bar through my ear and being able to choose what kind of bar to put on it and changing the balls to fit my style.
I chose this piercing not only cause my mom approved but because I knew I would be the only one in my school that has one. Everyone really likes my piercing and they totaly want one. They ask me where I got it done and how bad it hurts and all that good stuff so I just tell them it doesnt hurt very bad unless your a puss and that I would recomend them going to the same guy I did in columbia, Mo.
So far nobody at my school has gotten enough guts to go out and get the piercing done, so I am still the only one with it done.
This is my story and Im sticking to it because it is exactly what happend... Hope you all enjoyed it. thanks.
