A few years ago I used to think the idea of having stretched ear lobes was disgusting. It used to make me cringe whenever I saw them and I thought how could people mutilate there body's like that. But in a few years time I was about to find out for myself.

I knew at once it was what I wanted to do. I now have a 20mm left ear, and my right ear is 18mm. Im now going to tell you the highs and lows I had getting my ears to this size.
It all started around a year ago, I told my friends I wanted my ears stretched and they thought it was a really bad idea. I didn't care though,I just wanted stretched ears badly!. So after various views on BME reading peoples storys, I knew I was ready. I took a trip down to a local shop that sold various body jewelery and asked the guy at the counter how I would go about stretching my ears. He asked me if I had my ear pierced which I had, so he told me to get a 2.4mm ball closure ring which I put in with little effort as soon as I got home.
The next week I went to the same shop for a 3mm expander, which again went in with little effort. I kept doing my 1mm stretches every week until I was upto 6mm. When I got to 6mm I waited 3 weeks to stretch to 8mm then another 3 weeks to stretch to 10mm. I only ever wanted to go to 10mm so I bought a black 10mm flesh tunnel and kept that in for 2 months. Then one day I got the itch to stretch again, so I thought id go upto 20mm. The next day I bought a 12mm plug which went in easily. A month later I got a 14mm plug and it went in the same. I got a bit stuck at 16mm, it just wouldn't go in my ear, until one day after a shower it went in with little effort. I waited a month after the 16mm stretch and went up to 18mm then finally my goal 20mm and I couldn't be happier.
Although I had no problems with stretching my left ear, I had two problems with my right ear. The first problem was it wasn't pierced. so I got a friend of mine who did piercings to do it for me, then I waited 6 weeks to let it heal.
Finally the day arrived for me to start the long process of stretching again. I used the same techniques I did with my other ear and everything was going fine. Then when I stretched to 16mm one night and it was extremely painful but I thought nothing of it. I woke up in the middle of the night with a burning in my right ear. I checked it out in the mirror and too my horror there was a huge blowout! I honestly could of cried at that moment, but I never. Instead I down sized to 10mm but the blowout wouldn't go away. So I decided to take it out and start all over again.
I left my ear to heal up for about 2 months. Then the day finally came, I started with an 8mm expander because the hole in my ear healed to that size which gave me a good start. Everything was going fine until I got to 14mm,then I knew that the next stretch was where everything went wrong last time. I finally plucked up the courage to take it up to 16mm and every thing went fine! No pain or anything. which leaves me too where I'm at now, I stretched to 18mm 2 weeks ago with very little effort, and im waiting another 2 weeks to take it upto 20mm.
Finally my ears are going to be the same size, I really couldn't be any happier. This whole thing has took me nearly 2 years to complete and I don't regret it one bit. My friends thought I was stupid at first, but now they think it looks great and are forever putting there fingers through my flesh tunnels! what can I say, small things please small minds.
There is a moral to this story. The moral is, if you stretch one ear first and it goes fine, it doesn't mean the other one will be the same. So take your time and stretch when it feels right. Thank you for reading, I hope this has been of some help to people. Even if it hasn't helped you in anyway at all, i still hope you enjoyed reading it.
