I was wanting my tragus done for a while, before I got it done I was told by two people it was a weird piercing because you can hear this popping as the needle goes through and that it was a pretty painful piercing to have, but that didn't scare me.

She had a few piercings her self, tongue, lip, nose...I can't remember where else.
She rubbed my ear with this anti-bacterial wipe and marked where she wad going to pierce, still quite chatty, which I liked because it stopped me being nervous, although I wasn't really too nervous, I think i was more worried about the popping sound. I sat down as she was getting all the stuff ready, she took out the needle out of it's little packaging, they looked like the kind of thinks you'd see in a hospital, you know- the use once only kind of packaging, I could have sworn she put a sponge in my ear, but my friend said she didn't.
Whilst she was lining up I asked her if it would hurt and as I asked her she just did it, I don't think it hurt at all, and I didn't hear any popping, which kind of Disappointed me.
I wasn't sure if she had done yet, so I asked her if she had done-which she had and I was surprised...she then put the ring in and said it's always a bugger to get the ball in, I was expecting it to hurt as she put the ring in, but that didn't hurt either.
It Wasn't until she told me I was bleeding a bit that I felt faint, I'm not sure what set it off, because i'm usually ok with blood, I often have blood tests, and the whole needles into veins is the think that makes me feel queezy.
My friend asked me if I heard the popping and I told her I didn't, The piercer told me that I had quite soft cartilage. I told her I was expecting it to hurt, but it didn't!
I felt like I was going to faint, she told me I looked pale and asked me if I had weird hearing, but I just felt dizzy and hot and a bit sick...I was worried I was going to be sick, She gave me a glass of water and told me that she has had people pass out and throw up loads of times and i was also the first person to get pierced there this year. I put my head in between my knees like she said, and not long after I did that I felt better...
My friend looked really worried and I told her I was ok and the lady told her not to look so worried, also asked her if she was having anything done today, which she wasn't as she hadn't any money.
As soon as I felt ok again, I got up and paid the lady, looked in the mirror and noticed I was still bleeding a bit and she cleaned it up a bit and gave me some tissue for incase it would start bleeding again whilst I was in town...But it didn't thank god!
My friend asked her how much it would cost to get her tongue done, and she told us and asked to look at our tongues to see if we could...and I can, which is good because I was planning to have that done next! I can't wait!
I then went to show my boyfriend whilst he was at work, and he seemed to have liked it, but told me I was silly for getting it done at the place I went to, that I should have got it done at the place he gets his piercings done in Worthing (he used to have 26 but had to take most of them out for work), but he will be taking me there soon hopefully to get my tongue done.
So that is my experience of getting my tragus pierced, which I really enjoyed having done and I couldn't wait to show people!
It was so worth it!
