When I was about 3 I got my ears pierced for the first time. I don't really remember the experience. I remember I took them out one day and they closed over. So I spent the next few months going to Shoppers Drug Mart sitting on the lap of almost every family member in my family. Didn't work. So one day my mom bought me for one last try and when we got there the lady said that it was best for me to sit there on my own and have my mom go on and do her shopping. So that's what we did. And less than ten minutes later, I had my ears pierced.

Location Canada I was satisfied with my ear lobes up to grade six when everything started getting their second and third holes done. So I told my dad that's what I wanted and he took my sister and I to get them done. While we were there he decided to get one done himself. Which I thought was pretty cool(that year for Christmas I got home a gold hoop).
When grade seven rolled around I wanted something more. I started noticing that girls in high school had started using barbells for your belly button in their ears. So I went to Ardene's and bought three or four of them. I couldn't get them into my holes the first time, but after some pushing I got them threw. I was so excited. That Monday when I went back to school everyone thought they were the coolest things in the world, I was the only one at school who had them. Then about a month later...everyone had them. I remember walking threw the mall one day with my mom and passing Trade Secrets and someone was asking the piercer there about ear gauging and I looked at my mom and told her what they were talking about, and I got totally grossed out. I'm not grossed out anymore.
In grade eight I went to Balta and bought my first 8G pincher. I was so excited. I didn't really know anything about ear gauging so I just started poking random objects in my ears and by the time I was done I had three barbells in there. I have no idea what I was thinking. But I got my pincher in. I don't think I bleed much. It took a while for it to heal but I went and got another spacer and did the other ear. I had 8G's for about a year plus and in the middle of grade nine I decided to stretch my second holes. By this time, I had just gotten my industrial done, which was really awesome! My Mom hates it so much. She hates looknig at it. But it's there, and plus she took me to get it done. I really like my industrial, even though it is a common piercing among people. I like to be original, even though most of what I do is not. So I went and got more 8G's and away I went. Then when they were healed, around the end of grade nine, I stretched them to a 6G. Which I was so excited about. I had them all summer and up the about mid September. I applied for a job at a restaurant and got the job while at the interview. But she told me the only earrings I could wear were studs, and by then I had four different spacers in my ears. I was really dumb and took them all out, not even thinking about plugs.
After having the job for about four or five months, I wanted my 6G's back. So I got them back. And I've had them ever since. Now I'm anxious to get 4G's. Which should be happening sometime this week. Over the past couple days I've read a lot of stories on BME about ear gauging and it's been very helpful. I don't what NOT to do. Like skip gauges like I was going to. My goal is go to a 0G and if that's not big enough, 00G is my limit. I want my holes back I think. Mom isn't to pleased with all of this, but she can't really do anything about it. They're my ears, not hers. And I love it. Dad thinks it cool. Which is good, because I've got someone to cover up for me. I have a 2G double flared plug and tried to get it in. BAD IDEA. Don't ever try it. I didn't know not to until 2 nights ago when I read some stories on here about going to fast. And plus I didn't want to get cats ass. So this week it's the next size up. I'm so stoked! Can't wait!!
Happy Gauging.
