Heeeeey how's it going?

It all started when I got into stretching my left lobe. The first jewellery (and the last before I reached 0g) I bought IN MY LIFE was a 14g circular barbell for it. Now, when I got to bigger things, that barbell didn't serve any more purpose, now, didn't it? And I wasn't willing to throw it away. So I thought to myself: "why not pierce another hole?"
So one night, it happened live on webcam before my best friend. I took a gold earring, a sewing needle, some neosporin (for lubing that needle up), alcohol and since I didn't have any cork, a *sigh* piece I cut off a carrot. I wiped the earring and the needle with alcohol; pretty poor sanitizing but hey, I didn't have an autoclave in my garage like some of you! I then marked the spot on my left ear where I wanted to pierce it. show the ear to the camera, ask friend if placement is ok, blablabla. When I was sure the spot was where I wanted it (above my stretched piercing, just far enough so I can stretch it too), I lifted the needle up, placed the carrot behind my ear, and pushed!
Now, I don't know if I'm the only one around here who's like that, but the upper part of my left lobe was MUCH tougher than my right lobe (I knew this from some play piercing I did a few days before to know how it felt like to pierce yourself). I pushed, pushed, cringed as I felt each tiny layer of skin pop, pushed again and again, until FINALLY it came through.
at the bottom of the lobe.
AAAAARGH! it was so crooked, it was almost like a vertical lobe piercing! so I took the needle out. Now, my ear was throbbing, and there was absolutely no way for it to take another shot right away, so I turned my trust to my ol' pal, the still hole-virgin lobe of my right ear. This was easier, the needle went in quicker, and guess what, IT WAS STRAIGHT! yay!
So I left the needle in about 30 minutes to let my ear calm down, and after that, I took it out and prepared to insert the well neosporined (if that's a word) earring. it went in... halfway. whoopsy-daisies. couldn't find the back of the hole! so took the needle, insert it halfway, pierce the rest, wait a little, and again I tried to insert the earring. heh, like it was going somewhere. with the earring half inserted, hanging there like a spent erection, I didn't know if I should bring the needle again or just give up. that's when I recalled that the earring had a pretty thin shaft...
oh yes, I went there!
I put the carrot under the lobe, placed the earring straight, bit down on the closest thing (which happened to be my tongue) and PUUUSH! f*ckingoddammitwtfwaswrongwithmeohmygodthishurt. I didn't pierce the rest of the lobe, I literally crushed it! but anyways, the earring was through. I put on the butterfly back, and went back to my friend, showed it off on webcam, cleaned up everything, calmed down and went to bed. yay!
Now don't think the story's over!
remember that 14g barbell I was talking about? it still wasn't in my ear! I had a 18g butterfly backed gold earring! so I waited a few weeks, until it was (almost) healed. Still a little sensitive, but it was nothing compared to what was next.
t'was on easter morning. Before going to the church with a few old aunts and my parents, I decided that it was time to put the barbell through. I got into my workshop (a small desk in my bedroom where pieces of junk, pencils and knives lay waiting to be violated), took a round toothpick, and carved & sanded it to the size of my barbell if not slightly bigger. I oiled it, greased it up with neosporin, got into the bathroom and took out the little gold earring. Now, you know why you never see tapers made out of toothpicks? BECAUSE IT'S NOT WORTH SHIT! I managed to insert it while I was dancing from the pain (some cry, some lose there lunch, but me, when i'm in pain, I dance.) It took about 10 minutes to get it through. Once it was there, I pulled it out. it was even more painfull!
Ya know, all the sanding I did on the tooth pick, and the oiling, and the greasing, they didn't do much. When I took it out, the skin of my fistula ripped clean off. not a pretty image, huh? it sucked, believe me. One advantage with having no skin in your fistula, is that you don't need lube, blood and lymph does the job! so i got the barbell in, and threw the blood soiled mangled old toothpick in the garbage.
That bastard was hard to heal, it didn't stop hurting for a month, and sometimes a little puss would ooze from it, but I managed to get it to heal anyways. it has been nice and healthy ever since, and since a few weeks, I started getting it bigger. now i'm at 6g!
disclaimer: A little earlobe piercing stretched up to 14g isn't supposed to hurt. I know it, it didn't hurt with my left ear. This is because I did my right lobe the wrong way, and it brought me trouble. I wish I had it done professionally, it would have been far less painfull, quicker, and easier to heal. I was goddamn lucky to not catch any big infections! never do as I did, you probably won't be as lucky as I was. thanks for reading!
