Well let me start by saying I have recently become addicted to piercing. My first other then lobes which I had done before the age of eight, was my tongue, it was a completely random idea, and I went for it, my friend at the same time got her lip done. Anyways, next about a year later came my belly button, which did not last long, it was rejecting, so then I was started to get figure out what I wanted next. One night while being out with a good friends, she suggests getting something pierced... our tongue webs, I was a little weirded out, but I got it anyways. I loved it! Unfortunately, while away with family, one of the acrylic balls broke and I had to take it out, because I couldn't get to anywhere to have a new one put back on. So out it came, and I was upset. Then came my lip piercing, which my boyfriend hated, I had it for about two months before I took it out for his sanity. The came my nipple piercing, which, if done right, on girls, it wont hurt, seriously, it feels almost hot for the first few hours, and if your piercer knows anything about biology he will be able to tell you exactly what part of the nipple should be pierced, how it will feel in ten minutes, and how it will feel the next day with the nerve endings and so on.

While looking through some of the industrials on BME, I saw a spiral, that I had to get I saw some that had three turned, four turns, but I was thinking, I have pretty small ears I don't to much, so I opted for the two holes, and maybe change it for a third on a later date. I went to the studio, and they ordered some for me. They told me to come back in a few weeks because the boss wasn't there and couldn't order new jewellery till they came back. So I stopped in a few times, and still nothing, it was on back order, so I set out to find something new while I waited.

Again while looking on this site, I saw some that were custom bent, and once I figure out what bend I wanted I was off to the studio to get it done. After messing up two barbells before getting the bend just the way I wanted it, in it went. I have had it for almost two months now, and I love the way it looks. The bottom of the two holes did not hurt nearly as much as the one on top did, which I was already expecting. So leaving the studio with a huge smile on my face, I was set out to find my next new piercing.

So, on my way back to the studio, I had an appointment about a tattoo I was planning on getting, I noticed they had my barbell in, so in it went. The piercer I got it from, who it now my favourite, (I have gotten a few from him already, and I will never go to anyone else.)Was also apprenticing (or however you say it) a girl. It was her second day, and don't worry she didn't do the piercing, he was showing all the different parts of the ear, and he decided it was going to be my ear. So sitting there, nervous like I always am sitting there waiting for him to tell me to breath in, I could see him holding the needle showing her how to hold it, and all I want him to do it shove it thought my ear. I was ok with him showing her though, so don't get me wrong, just watching and waiting as her prepared everything showing the new girl what to do and everything I was ready to die with anticipation. So then came the breath in, breath out, and halfway through the breath out the needle went though, then he joked out tough my cartilage was and again breath in, breath out, in the went second hole. Spiral was in, perfectly spaced, and perfect in every way. I love my new piercing, (and I am going to get my web re-done next weekend... I am so excited!!!) And I am still thinking about some other things to shove through random holes in my body.

If you are thinking about getting an industrial, or really any piercing in that matter, just make sure the piercing you go to is respectable, and knows what he is doing. I have seen very few who know what they are talking about, but think they know everything. And if you need to spend a little extra money to get it done properly, go for it, you won't regret it. And if pain is all your worried about, there are tons of things that will hurt a thousand time more then this, and the pain for a piercing doesn't last for more then a few days, a broken heart could hurt for years.
