One day I was bme and I was looking at various ear piercings when I came across a triple ear spiral. It was love at first sight. I had never seen it anywhere before and I could not understand why is so awesome but hey that makes it that much better and unique. From then on all I could do was find out more about it. I knew I was going to get it someday. So fast forward to about 5 months later and I still really wanted to get it done. My mom is not into stuff like that so I thought there would be a problem there but after some convincing she agreed. I had already had my cartilage done I a few months ago but that was a whole different experience my friend did it for me in her bathroom but it had healed really well so I am hoping for that the same goes for my other ear

I started the search for the jewelry itself which was quite the hunt no one had it and if they did it was out of stock or it was only a double and I wanted a triple. So finally I came across that had it. I looked up some 3rd party reviews on the website and they where almost all good so I decided it was a reputable business and ordered it that very night.
About a week later it came in the mail, I was weird to finally have it in my hand since I had just been looking at it for months. A few days later we made our way to the piercing shop. When I went up to the counter the person behind it did not even really know what is was. But the other pierce there said he was willing to do it he just had never done it and wanted to make sure I was ok with that. I was fine with it he said he had been piercing for 6 years and it was not that complicated of a piercing the placement just had to be right. he said he should be able to put the spiral jewelry in right away he just has to auto clave it and tells us to come back in fifteen or twenty minutes.
We wondered around for 20 minutes and came back. I was a little nervous but not as much as I thought it would be. I went into the backroom and sat down my piercer marked up my ear and I agreed with the placement now for the hard part. He said he was going to start at the bottom and screw it up. so he did the first hole at the bottom the pain was not that bad but of screwing of the spiral was like a stinging sensation so he went into do the second hole but to do that he had to tug pull and twist at the first hole that was very very painful I was in enough pain to want to call it off and I figured if I had come this far why stop now. but he did the 2nd hole and threaded everything through I guess I was making some faces or something because he asked me if I needed to take a break I said no because if I stopped now I don't think I would want to back in that chair knowing how much it hurt the last time I was there and then he got ready to do the 3rd and final before he did he said 'this one is going to be tough' he was defiantly right it felt like he was putting the needle through for 5 minutes even though it was probably more like 20 seconds. Right after that he told me that my ear was swelling a lot and that he did not think he could thread it in and he suggested just putting some 16g CBRs in and letting it heal up then I could come back and he would put real jewelry in free of charge. I agreed and it was a relief that he would not be inflicting any more pain. So I tipped him and left. it bled a lot for the first 2 days and was sore it stopped bleeding but still is very sore to the touch have been using dial and salt soaks to keep it clean and have been very careful not to hit it on anything. The biggest problem I am having is that I sleep on the side I got pierced on so I have to experiment with different angles and what not. I can not wait to go back and get the real thing put in it should be fun...wish me luck
