Ever since my boyfriend's sister had her Industrial pierced, I wanted it. I showed my mom and told her about it, and she thought it was a bad idea, just like my other piercings I want. I kept bringing it up, for a while, just to bug her enough to let me get it. Soon enough, she said I could, which I was so excited about.

So, my sister took me to get it pierced with my friend, and my boyfriend. My boyfriend kept telling me that it wasn't going to hurt, but my friend and my sister kept saying it was going to. I got so scared. I walked into the shop, shaking, so nervous. I walked over to the counter and the lady said asked how she could help us, and I said, I would like to get my Industrial done. She signed the papers and told me how to clean it, how long to keep it in, and all that good stuff. I just had to ask her, does it hurt. She said that a lot of people says it does, but its quick. I then asked, has anyone cried, and she said yeah they have. That just got me more nervous, so she rang me up and gave me a bag of cleaning solution and salt, and gave me a number , then I went and sat down on the chair. My heart was beating, so fast! Calvin(the guy who pierced it) came out and looked at me and said, You ready?. I kinda nodded my head, and followed him into the room, holding my boyfriends hand so tight, which the room was very very clean, and very cute, it was a tiki styled room:). He told me to sit down on the chair, so I sat down and watched him get everything ready. The scent of the sanitizer made me more nervous. I asked him questions, and he said that this is a piercing that hurts a lot. Which this one got me more nervous, because he had a lot of piercings, and he said that THIS one hurt a lot. I told him, that I was scared and he told me that it really isn't that bad, and I have nothing to worry about. He also told me, pain is beauty:). He got the needle ready, and said, You ready?. I had my boyfriend come over to hold my hand, and I closed my eyes. He put the needle through. It was so fast, it didn't really hurt that bad. He then put the piercing in, and twisted the ball on top. I think that part with him putting the earring in hurt the most, because he was kind of rough with it, but I told him it hurt, and he made it less rough. It was an experience, that I would go back and do it again, because it wasn't bad.

It is defintily a piercing thats worth it.

&; It's very prettty:)

But this is a piercing that you can barely find any jewlery. So you should buy a lot of jewlery when you get it pierced, becuase then you will have a lot for when you can change it.

I can't currently take this one out, because its on so tight, so I have to go back and get it taken out, or to show me how to take it out. I don't really think it will be hard to take out for everybody, I think for me he just screwed it on really tight, so it wouldn't fall off. Which then, I think I can get something else pierced :). I am thinking abuot going to either get my rook, tragus, anti tragus, or conch this week, along with my boyfriend who is getting his tounge.

:)

My other ear is currently plain, so I need some new piercings to make is all nice and stuff.

I am sure this experience may want you to get your industrial done, or maybe even not want you to. I read stories about it before I got it pierced and it made me not really want to get it, but I got it. I am so happy I did, and everyone tells me its cool, or it looks good. I say that this piercing is a definite thumbs up, and you should get it if you are considering it.

Be sure to really really really clean it good, because it will start hurting if you don't.

The night I got it, I sleep all night painless, and I can sleep on it now. Soaking it is somethnig you should do to. Also, don't twist it, even though you think you should DON'T. I twisted it, and it hurt so bad, and I called and asked them if I should be twisting it, and they said NO.
