So I'm in my final year of school. as you everyone follows trends I did, I was planning to stretch my ear for ages, but was waiting till I left school. I was never ever going to go past a 2/3g in millimeters (UK) that is about half a centimeter; this was because I know they can go back to normal. Anyway, I got all excited as many of the girls in my all girls school were begging to stretch there lobes in different ways, come used a horse-shoe taper and others just used the basic straight one, I however waited a curved one.

I had my ears first pierced at the age of 10 (16 now) so they were completely healed, I know you shouldn't stretch if they aren't completely healed.
During the Easter holiday I went to work with my auntie, I was selling her old body jewellery stock, and so was the bloke next to me. I noticed in his glass case 4/5 acrylic tapers, I traded a pink marble pattern one for 3 belly bars, for the rest of the day I tried to get it through, I got it half way in just half an hour! But I decided to take it out as my auntie and parent would have flipped. (before I started with the taper it was at a 16g(1.2mm)I knew this as I put my old cartilage bar and a few 1.2 needles in it in class when I was bored).
a couple of days later I got really upset, I used to self harm, but I wanted to avoid this, I saw the taper whilst finding my anti-depressant pills, I thought instead of cut myself, put this in for once and for all, so I sterilized it with disinfectant (now knowing this wasn't the most safest thing to use), I had some trouble getting it through, so I put some Vaseline, this I now realize was also not a very good idea, but regardless it slid 3/4 of the way in, then I felt pain so I stopped for an hour of so, I then took the taper back out and saw a tiny bit of light through my stretch, I got all excited. I went on the internet and found the best way to clean it (and people who are going to stretch there ears should use it) it was 80 fluid oz of warm to hot water, and a teaspoon of SEA salt, then pour a little into an eggcup and sip the lobe in it. Whilst doing this I massaged it to keep the blood circulating, this was also advised. Then I cleaned the taper and without Vaseline slid it back in the hole, took a deep breath, then when I exhaled I pushed the taper in from the front as hard as I could, voila it was in place though it was also advised to take the taper/flesh tunnel out and let it rest for about an hour everyday, so the next day I did, and it started bleeding badly, I looked it up on the internet and it said to down-size, well I didn't have anything to down-size with, so I jut cleaned it up left it, took some Ibuprofen (pain killer) (this stops the swelling) and now it's starting to go down. I took it out about an hour ago, and took a picture to put on this:

Sorry they're not very clear, cameras rubbish! I'm going to go up to a 2g (6mm) as there are two plugs that I want to get to put in it.
I found out after that you should have a piercist assist you in stretching but I didn't need one, just bare it in mind if you're going to decide to stretch! Acrylic tapers aren't good for long term use as they eventually will react with the skin, so get a flesh tunnel in as soon as you can, but make sure the stretch has heeled first.
Some key points :
•use KY jelly to lube it up, as this is water base, but remember to rinse it off/out after
•sea salt rinse 3 times a day (80fl oz warm water, to 1 teaspoon of sea salt)
•If it bleeds down-size instantly, to prevent against a blow out
