Ok starting off I was 18 and I really wanted to get my ears as big as 2". So for my birthday I earned my money and went to the store to get my ears pierced. It was only like six fifty. After like two weeks my ears did not like it so I took them out and go my eight gauge needle. I had some jewelry in my room that was eight gauge for when I went to that size. So I went and I got my clamp and I stuck the needle in. Pushed it through and put my captive balls in my ear and left them in with the constant pain and bleeding and it felt good. I used sea salt and warm water to clean my ears. I was told not to use alcohol it will dry your ears out.

So I let two weeks past and I have kept my ear clean so it would not get infected. I bought a pair of double zero's so I can put them in. I slipped them in with some medicated ointment so it will go in easier and it did. And I went to school with my new size but I really was not happy to be at that size but you have to start somewhere. I went to school and let the time fly by till the second week. So when that week came I went to half inch. And when I did get there I was happy because I was out of the smaller sizes. The only thing I did not like was the prices of the earrings but after looking at them they are well worth it.
I waited for three weeks till I went to my next size and this time I used a taper. I went to five eights and I had the nice red plugs. I was happy with my size and I was moving up. I wanted to be in the Big Lobe Mafia. So I got new earrings for the next time I went up. And I knew that my lobes would go a size bigger so I got the next size. After about two weeks I was seven eights or close to one inch. So I got the seven eights and put plumbing tape around it till I was at one inch and I bought a wood one inch plug. A week and a half I was at inch and one eights.
I was like wow my ears are getting there fast. I kept my ears oiled and massaged them so they would not be ruined. Two weeks later I was at inch and five sixteens and I was happy. I was not sure what the size of the Mafia was till I looked it up and it was inch and a half. I was happy to get there but I wanted to take my time. I did not want to go fast. I was looking online for some jewelry for my ears and I found some on this one site and I got them. During that week I did go up to inch and a half. I was happy when I got my glass earrings for my ear. It was kind of hard because of the big double flares. So I did wait like one day and they finally went in.
All this was in like seven months and I was told it usually takes up to a year to do it. I just waited for my ear to settle with the size. When I was that size for like three more months but my ears kept on stretching so I had to take my earrings out for like two day in order for it to go back to where it was. I did think about going up and I stopped thinking and did it. I used plumbing tape and went to inch and nine sixteens then to inch and five eights. I had to buy more earrings for that and I waited a couple of more months before I moved up.
I had looked up BMEzine.com when I was in high school and I loved the site. When I was stretching my ears I went you the site for help. I am still stretching my ears now. I went up to inch and eleven sixteens. I am proud of my ears and how far they come. I don't want anyone going as fast as I did, that is just the way my ears work. When I was stretching my ear lobes I used olive oil and it does work for me. Others used other oils that they can get at other stores. Go slow when doing this because you can get scar tissue or your ears can split and it is not a good thing to do.
