Ok first I'll give you some of my background. Im 15 years old, and I love body mods. I have two piercings right now, soon to be more. I have one hole in my left and right ears. My left hole is at 10 gauge and my right is brand new and what this story is about. Someday I hope to have my lip and eyebrow done also, and maybe my nipples.

My left lobe was pierced at the mall by a gun (I did not know this was bad at the time, and I now know better)It took forever to get my mom to agree but finally she just gave in. My dad doesn't allow any piercings so I was happy that my long hair hid it, until one day i was stupid and pulled my hair back and he saw it. He was pissed but he got over it. I then stretched it to a 14, then a 10.
Now on with the story.
Just having my left lobe pierced wasn't enough and I wanted my right one done so my face looks even, especially because I am stretching them to about an 8 or 6. I begged my mom for weeks to let me get my right ear pierced. She was set on the answer "no". Then about a week later her answer was "Ask your father", knowing this wasn't an option i begged some more. Then after another 2 weeks of constant begging and being annoying her answer was "Fine but if your father finds out then I'm saying I had no idea." So I decided to take my chances and get my right lobe pierced and try my best at hiding it from my dad. Since I'm underage I can't go to a piercing shop, and my mom refuses to sign the form so I decided to have my girlfriend do it.
It was Wednesday when we decided to do it that coming Sunday. Skip to Friday. I went over her house and thats when I stretched my ear to ten gauge using a ten gauge taper and a ten gauge plug. I slept over her house that night and the following day she decided she also wanted something pierced. We gathered supplies and proceeded to her room. We swabbed her ear and safety pin, opened the new studs, marked her ear and I pierced. It came out good and she loved it. Then finally came sunday. We went out to eat and when we got home we decided that it was time to stab a safety pin in my ear.
We gathered all the supplies, swabbed my ear and safety pin, took out the other new stud, marked my ear and got ready to pierce. I told her to make sure it went through straight and then she asked me if I was ready. We decided to do it on a count of 3. I started to count...1...2... Before I could say three she began to jam that thing into my ear. It hurt a bit, but its just because she could not get it through my ear. After about 20 seconds of pushing it popped through and I ran to the mirror to look. I loved it. It was in the perfect spot, right in line with my left ear. We left the pin in for about 5 minutes and then pulled it out and began to put the stud in. She could not find the back of my hole with the stud so I told her to just push. The push was followed by a loud pop and a smile. She slid on the back of the stud and I ran to the mirror once again so that I could look at my new hole. I absolutely loved it.
It has been about a week since it was pierced and it was been doing great. For aftercare I do a 5 minute sea salt soak twice a day and clean it with this aftercare stuff I got with my left lobe piercing at the mall. The sea salt soaks really help as it is still pretty tender and painful to the touch.
What I did was a very stupid way to go about piercing my right ear. If you want your ear pierced then go to a professional and follow up aftercare perfectly. This is going to be the last home piercing I get and from now on I'm going to a piercing shop for the rest of my piercings.
Remember to be safe, and clean. It your body and make sure you do what you want. Also don't let anyone talk you into something you don't want to do. After all it's your body that the hole is going in.
